Toasty’s here as usual.

Even on half days I prefer getting up really early.

so like what time is it at your place? I have 10:25AM ^^

It’s about 3:30AM at the moment. My parents are starting to worry about my sleeping habits but I keep telling them I’m fine.

Gah now I’m getting hungry since I started thinking about it. But I can’t go and get any food because I’ll wake up my parents or the dog and then they’ll be all “Dang it Travis!”

So I’m gonna have to wait like two hours :

I think Toasty’s a fellow Texan. So 3:30am. He’s up early and, me, I haven’t slept yet.

wow, and my parents already get mad when I get up at 5 xD

but really, WHY are you up so early Toasty?

hey guys, I’m going to place my head on the keyboard for abit, so if I don”t answere as quick as usually you know why-

When I wake up earlier I usually feel more awake and energetic for school after being up for so long. Then I also work best in the morning, so if I have any homework or I just want to draw, I can do that in the three hour time span between my awakening and my departure for school.

I’ve always been an early riser.

that’s still abit way to early for my taste, like I also get up at5:30 even if I could sleep till 7, but ..3 AM?! dude-

I dunno it’s just weird, I wake up like ten minutes before my alarm goes off, and I’m wide awake.

As soon as I pull off the blanket I’m wide awake. Don’t know why.

I used to do a 4am til 10pm shift when I did a backpacker buffet on Fraser island. As I was (and still am) a young chef who partakes of large quantities of clear liquor, this sometimes turned into three or four day stretches of party induced insomnia. They started prescribing me sleep medication when I fell asleep in the kitchen and stabbed myself in the shoulder with the knife I was holding, which was my own.

Don’t even get me started on christmas.

“That sounds an awful lot like a sugar crash, Taesh,” said the man who sleeps in three hour bursts throughout the day.

I can’t take sleep medication, my stomach is already too screwed up to take it anymore. I use anti-anxiety stuff, right? But I ran out early this month. They’re switching me to the crazy-powerful stuff next time I go in.

I quit drinking around November last year. Long story short, I found some really, really cheap vodka (it’s called “rotgut” for a reason) and haven’t moved back to the fancy tequila yet.

Meh. While I do stay up late sometimes, even when I adopt a normal sleeping pattern, I have weird sleeping habits. I really should get it checked out… For example… I’ve fallen asleep while walking SEVERAL times. I’ve fallen asleep while performing a stage show (luckily no one noticed, whew. Thanks fellow singers!), I’ve fallen asleep while parking a car….

Apparently I can still function while I sleep… I just don’t particularly like it.

Sounds like Narcolepsy bro. Suffered any head trauma in your life at all?

Other than hitting every branch on the ugly tree!

I need my sleepies. Thankfully I’m on college so when I’m not in class, or working, I have the option to nap!

sometimes I actually take afternoon naps too, they’re REALLY awesome, I donnu, but I feel like sleeping at day is easier and nicer than sleeping at night x3

@ Ace: So that was you and not Toasty I was remembering? My bad. I love Texas more the further south I go, but I live close enough to Oklahoma to smell it.

Doubtful. I’ve never mentioned I’m from Texas, but I mean, I bet I EXUDE Texan. Sorry you gotta live near them okies, but whatcha gunna do. Glad I live near the coast.

Lucky bastard. My dad was born south of Houston, and, yeah, you kind of talk like him. I grew up with my Yankee mom, so I never picked up the accent.

My dad is an Aussie so I don’t have the southern accent either.

Instead it’s some sort of god forsaken hybrid of southern/hippie/aussie that changes all the time depending on my mood.

Afternoon naps are awesome! I generally go from 6 am to 12 pm, but with all the free classes I get in school, I catnap throughout the day. Although some of those classes aren’t technically free and the teacher is there, but still it’s useless crap I get like in History. (I mean I couldn’t give a rat’s ass what sexuality Meynard Keane was)

When I’m writing I employ a heavy hybrid of Anglo-Irish hippie accents.
But when I talk one of my mates said that I sound like an Italian and Jamaican got together, procreated and that person procreated with the son of an Indian and a Spaniard. That still confuses me to this day…

I have a Scandinavian-Argentine cousin though. (His family is a mix of Finnish/Swedish from his father and Argentine from my half-aunt’s side.) He sells trucks all over the world. You should hear him when he speaks to the Russians or the Ukrainians on the phone. He does sound a bit odd… (Now that I think about I haven’t talked to him in months!)
