If Taeshi must know, Sn000ths and Dr.John was being kept out of the SAG 2 text/voice chat. I won’t mention the name of the booter for his/her own safety, but rest assured the problem was solved.

If I recall what happened earlier, to the people in the SAG voice chat, the main chat turned into a troll off between snoooths and John. It’s assumed that they reason they were being kept out of the SAG VC was to prevent the chat from turning into the main chat when we were all being civil and only talking about SAG. Albeit John was also a part of SAG and I believe was eventually allowed in when the main chat stopped being ridiculous.

That’s just my take on it from what I heard over the VC (wasn’t paying attention to either text chats)

we started talking a bit about how ridiculous some users here were being (leaving the chat to go to the other chat because of “trolls” when i hadnt said anything/ ignoring me when i am honest/ refusing to acknowledge somethings existence because they dont like it etc etc etc whatever who cares) and then spradic (who was paying attention to the main chat) invited us in
i dunno about dr john but i got about 15 seconds to say hello to everyone before i was booted
whatever it really isnt a big deal/ the sag is sorta lame anyway/ i shouldnt have made this thread and i am a stupid baby

Well you could kill skype Taeshi. Just kick everyone out of the group and never make a new big general chat and tell people go to IRC instead.

Ugh, we made the whole damn SAG thing so people could discuss it w/o bothering the people in main chat who weren’t in it. I dunno who booted ya Snooths, I was too focused on managing this whole thing, but someone fucked up. If ANYONE wants into SAG chat, it’s not meant to be exclusive, just send me a request next time and I’ll toss you an inv, you shouldn’t be kicked unless you start big shit like any other chat I’ve ever hosted.

And yeah Taeshi, SAG does tend to generate a large amount of chat for the people in it, a lot of it silly jokes that people outside would get frustrated at since they are SAG related.
In short THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WE CANNOT HAVE NICE THINGS

No Snooths, I don’t kick for differing opinions. I mean things like Shota shit, constant mic spam, or spamming billions upon billions of fucking failwhales in chats when people are actually trying to talk. Just incredibly disruptive things like that which prevent people from holding an actual conversation.

The topic of SAG chat IS SAG though, so if you don’t like what is being talked about there don’t bitch since it’s obviously the wrong place to be

And so the problem arises again.
Honestly I don’t want the Skype Chats to end with a bad tone.
Once the SAG is done this thing will die down.
Everyone’s just overreacting again.
And to me IRC is not appealing.
It get’s the job done, but the browser version of the IRC is kinda ugly and I can’t get a license to download a real client.

…Compromise:
Skype is can be used for specific BCB & non-BCB events (ex. SAG, MMG, MineCraft, DnD, etc.)
IRC can hold the main chat.

I have to give it to Taeshi, Skype’s still incomplete.
And I guess it beats spring cleaning in the main chat.

Now tell me a decent free IRC, cause I’m not sure which one to get.

IRC is BCB Main Chat.
Skype is for the smaller stuff.

And as I said, we’re just moving the BCB Main Chat.
All other topics will continue to exist on skype.

Well, I have made the move back to IRC. I find the Mibbit extension for Google Chrome users great for it. I’m still on skype if/when needed though to watch people hopefully move to the IRC or for small voice chats.

I agree with Taeshi on this one too. Skype is best for real skyping, not just general chatroom-ness. Not sure what all this IRC stuff is (will look it up later when i’m not at an internet cafe and paying a mint to be online), but it sounds like a good idea to me.
