i feel so hardcore right now… i just watched a vhs. of the mystery men. it was awesome!

I saw that recently, but it was on DVD

i thought i owned the dvd… but i dont… so i went to go and (illegally) download it. that didnt work at all… so i went to the vhs that i knew i owned. oddly enough, it still works. yay for the endurance of old technologies!

Noir, I think I’ve figured out your problem and it’s that you’ve pigeon-holed all the girls that you know into older, younger and the same age as you. Maybe you don’t have a great dating pool, so be it. I’ve found that what I’m looking for comes to me when I quit looking for it. I say just make friends with some girls and try to relax. And if depression becomes a problem, put your pride aside and just get medicated.

So yeah, that’s what I think. Nine years from now, you’ll be my age and easily in a better place in life than me, and I’m pretty happy in my place so that’s saying something.

Date older then. As long as you’re not attracting octogenarians, I fail to see the problem. Just remember: two years younger, at most, until you’re eighteen. Then you can have anybody you want as long as they’re over eighteen.

I mean, it’s a rough interpretation of the rules, but generally speaking that’s not a terribly bad rule of thumb.
