You left the realm of short and to the point when you said “for it is bad”.
The explanation for this is so very long and very relative and you would have such a very short time to explain it to anyone who got pissed.

Yes, well, in that case, let’s simply ignore it, then, shall we? Leave it behind us and move on.

@ Ninja - He is clearly quite intent upon making everyone in the world intolerant of silly things.

@ Klaus - I can agree with that. I always kinda thought of faith as the polar opposite of reason, so I can’t get behind it completely. But still, it does work for a lot of people. I myself try to be hopeful, even if it defies probability. Taking risks is the fruit of life after all.

Scotch November 23, 2010, 3:03 AM EST.

Comment ID #132049

Yes, I haven’t yet established a common ground to base my decisions about taking risks yet. It’s one of the factors contributing to me remaining single. I should probably work on that.

Dr. Klaus November 23, 2010, 3:06 AM EST.

Comment ID #132055

We are far too similar, my friend. Except I kind of want to take risks but I’m lazy.

Scotch November 23, 2010, 3:11 AM EST.

Comment ID #132056

Take the risk % = R%
Reward = R
Liklyhood = L
Maximum loss = ML
R% = (R-ML)/L

(Fledgling Relationship-Loss of max 12 “friends” )/Not exceptionally likely = ?
My gut says no.

Pardon the unintended derail.

Dr. Klaus November 23, 2010, 3:16 AM EST.

Comment ID #132065

No! I hate topics that are on themselves. Besides, 5 “friends” = 1 friend, so it’s not so bad.

Scotch November 23, 2010, 3:21 AM EST.

It’ll be moot after i get out of high school, so it’s not like a big deal. Except if/when my parent’s find out about stuff, they’ll never forget.

Isn’t Nancy Grace on Fox? Man, every time she shows up on TV I go off an a spiel where I kill the heathens with my cleansing fire and holy sword.

@Faux News: *heavy sigh*, on second thought I extend that to the majority of major news outlets, but especially Faux News and to every ‘entertainer’/’politician’/ whateveryouaresupposedtocallthem that appears on that station.

I normaly wouldn’t post in these type of things but i just saw in the paper, a warning that should be apperent. It warned that when frying a turkey for thanksgiving you need to be carful because it could cause burns, “facepalm”. No Shit frying a large bird can burn you if your not carful, frying anything can and will burn you if your being stupid. “sigh” people “shakes head”

The fact that we have “may contain traces of nuts” on a bag of peanuts at work

Goldwulf Q. Triplesexy November 24, 2010, 4:24 PM EST.

Penuts are a legume, not a nut. Having penuts in there does not nessesarily mean that there are nuts.

MiwAuturu November 24, 2010, 4:27 PM EST.

They put it on all sorts of nuts, though.

ILB November 24, 2010, 4:37 PM EST.

If you are allergic to peanuts and you buy a bag of peanuts and you eat one and you die from it, you didn’t really deserve to live to begin with. Typical litigious American bullshit.

Jerk November 24, 2010, 4:49 PM EST.

Comment ID #132941

You’d better change that to, “If you are allergic to peanuts and you know that you are,” because there’s always people who don’t know they’re allergic until they have a reaction.

@ Dr. Klaus: But then there’d be no point in warning them. It’s really for people who ignore the obvious.

Jerk November 24, 2010, 5:37 PM EST.

Comment ID #132979

If someone knows they’re allergic to nuts, and eats, say, pistachios, then why would putting a teeny-tiny disclaimer on the back help?

Wait. I confused myself. X(

We are slowly getting better. Life expectancy is up, fewer people die in war now per year than in previous centuries, disease is less prevalent, and we may soon have the technology to colonize different planets so we don’t have to deal with each other.
