Wow… That’s… That’s really well written…

Kudos to you! It kinda puts my piece of shit depressing story to shame ^^;

The pacing was fantastic, the mood was held perfectly, it all flowed really well, and I actually felt the pangs of real sadness reading it. I am seriously impressed.

It helped out with the dynamic reading mav, but yes I have to agree that was very well written. Unlike the others who went baww :I I chuckled, because I’m a terrible person and despite feeling the sadness, thought it was amusing.

@Maverick Doubt it. |D But thank you! It seems more people caught the emotion more than I expected they would. I feel bad, because now it seems like I’m all MikexSandy, but I don’t want a happy ending for Lucy, which isn’t true in the last.

@ScarfNinja Haha! Well, alot of people do enjoy the sadness. At least you didn’t go, “That’s sad.” like alot of people do, when it’s just like, “Well, duh.”

Quite impressive. It fits quite well at Mav’s level of writing, so congrats.
(and yes, although I was a tad sad I did enjoy how the story ended)

@Ved Thank you! I did rather enjoy writing the ending.

Yeah, that blew me away. Mavie did a dramatic reading for us and I was really into it the entire time. It was an interesting set up, like how Lucy seemed to not meet him as a child (since she drew herself with a bust lol)

I am so sad by the ending ;_; it was really touching and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wahhh lucyyy

I wasn’t aware of the Draw With Me video, but having now seen it I’m pretty impressed by how you adapted the story. I wondered at first if it was some weird metaphor or something about them being kids in a playpen and things like that. I’m not totally happy with the way the story in the video ended, so you did well to come up with an alternate one here, even if it demonises Sandy a bit!

Amazing Fanfic I heard Mav read it out loud after I had read it myself. Sad as hell, the whole wall of glass thing is something that really bugs me though for my own few reasons. Still though been telling people to read this one in particular it’s a sad but very very strong well-written story.

@Taeshi I imagine she met them early teenage years in this, which would explain a bit. :P I’m glad you liked it, though. It seems like this story made alot of people feel the emotions, as several of my friends have told me so.

@SuitCase The original alternate ending I had written, for the original video, was the boy becoming obsessed with trying to get over the glass and, no matter how much the girl told him it was pointless, he was still relentless. As the years passed, the girl had matured, and she knew that they’d never get passed the glass, but the boy’s view hadn’t changed at all. She knew he’d eventually get himself killed if he continued like this, so eventually, she just decided to leave. The boy tried to break through the glass as he had when he lost his arm, only this time, it didn’t just take a limb, it took is life.

@Rukral I’m glad you enjoyed it, thank you very much! It’s nice to hear feedback on my writing. I don’t get enough of it.

This, indeed, was a very, very good adaption. It was a very sad ending indeed, and a happier one would have been nice to see, but as it is, you freakin’ nailed it. Seriously, this is one of the best written fanfics I’ve seen around here. You definitely have talent.

Out of curiosity, about how long did it take you to write this?

@Rasputin Two hours or so, maybe?

Hehe, I could not for the life of me get this story as well as one we talked about on Skype (The creepy-ass mirror one) out of my head today. Even though there were parts of this I just did not like at all, I still had to read it again. I enjoyed it even more so after having seen the animation too

@Kaxbe Hah. XD

@Rukral The story would seem to be easier to connect with if you have seen the animation, depending on if you were trying to understand the whole glass concept or not. Alot of my readers tried to find a theme behind it.
