Gays and Soldiers.
Ultimately both are just about seeing who has the bigger gun.

I’m ashamed by the fact this archaic dinosaur of a rule exists and that it’s still an issue to people what somebody’s sexuality or gender identity is. I’m glad that he was discharged, but only because the military doesn’t deserve his help or loyalty, with such backwards regulations, and he doesn’t deserve to die serving somebody that could treat him like this.

A gay military is actually really powerful. It’s just such a pain in the arse to deal with.

So this is basically a thread where everyone cracks awful jokes related to homosexuality? I’d have expected slightly better than that. ^_^

Pointless ass backwards rule. Then again, isn’t that typical for America?

actually, the “don’t ask don’t tell” law is PRO GAY.
or at least it was back in the 90’s.
it’s purpose was too keep commanders from discriminating against homosexual soldiers by allowing them to keep their sexual identity to them self.
but the attitude towards gays has changed since then.
and now, ironically, this law now makes it so that being openly gay in the army is a crime.
changing it now will take some time cuz in the army this kindda thing moves vary slow
and takes years to resolve.

Four soldiers walk into a bar and they find a problem. There’s only one stool left.
One guy says “Lets flip for it”
But another says “No, Lets flip it over”

I usually tend to avoid political news and such when I’m on vacation, but this caught my eye. A man is being discharged from the military because he came out of the closet.
Seriously, what is the point of the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” rule? It is completely pointless.
What are your opinion on this rule and homosexuals in the military?
