What about the “David is the mastermind behind the events in the comic and the whole acting stupid thing is a clever deception” Theory?

Is it that time of year again already? I’m afraid I don’t have all my things for this cycle of ‘David Is A Genious’ debates. Didn’t figure it to come up till at LEAST October…

Hee. Will there be articles on Daisy’s hidden bloodlust and McCain’s inner, sensitive self? ^_^
Comment ID #77402
No because they don’t exist. Except for the bloodlust maybe
Comment ID #77415
But David’s philosohpical profoundness is also quite nonexistant. ^_^
Comment ID #77473
well Paulo should totally go out with Lucy so you got that part right~

We all know the truth David is like the Retarded Animal Babies, he became incredibly smart in later life, got pissed off and time traveled back to his time of retardation… ah Newgrounds and your stupidly entertaining videos… ![]()

“The David Theory”
An in-depth character analysis by Mallow
Some people may call David a character simply present for “comedic relief.” These people do not realize how wrong they actually are. A fine researcher such as myself would immediately pick up on how David actually posseses a higher level of intellect than any other character in the comic that is “Bittersweet Candy Bowl.”
When Kizuna says hello to David on several occasions, he replies, “Who are you?” without hesitation. Some people might mistake this as a sign of stupidity or simply being forgetful, but David is actually being quite profound by asking the question in a philosophical sense. He is like a wise old man meditating on a mountaintop. When you finally get there, he might say something like, “Paulo should totally go out with Lucy,” and leave you confused as his words swirl in your mind. You might wonder why he didn’t say or do anything useful, such as help you solve your Algebra homework, but he has actually given you a wonderful piece of advice. “Paulo going out with Lucy” is actually complex symbolism. In the simplest terms, David is telling you that to do what is right, you must first associate with humanoid cats. With that being said, “Who are you?” is actually a way of telling Kizuna that she needs to take time to reflect upon herself and maybe remodel her image before she persues someone as sophisticated as David. He says this without being condescending, which is part of why only the best researchers such as my self can conclude that David is present to provide comic relief.
Thank you for reading.
