I myself am muslim (though not really religlously, but still beilive in islam), and id perfer if thered be no mosque.

Christianity and Islam are the two most violent religions (of modern religions), when one comes and builds their place of worship where the other resides, violence will ensue. It’s inevitable. But yes, this is very stupid.

I’m tired of hearing about how, if we let them build mosques (you know god forbid freedom to express your own religion), they’ll have a ‘safe place to plan terrorist attacks’, because I guess people honestly think that if a terrorist touches a moque and yells “Base!” all the police have to go home empty handed or something.

I’m under the impression that middle eastern terrorists in general are being hired with the money they get from their oil reserves, so I have no problem with a mosque.

I don’t think that going there and joining the battle will do any good. Violence begets more violence. Even verbal violence.
If you scream at someone, they’ll start screaming back. Then you’ll probably keep screaming at them. And they’ll keep screaming back. This can only end if someone (a) wins the argument or (b) just gives up.
B is the braver, smarter choice. Especially in this case when the argument cannot be won.

Violence doesn’t always beget more violence. For example, if we got into a fight and I killed you, there would be no more violence between us.

Between us, no, but between you and others, maybe.

Or even between others that sided with you and others that sided with me, etc.
