Bittersweet Candy Bowl

You know, that Vocaloid program created in Japan where you can make a computer create music and sing? I just found it on Stumble Upon and was just wondering if anyone else knew about it. I think it’s pretty cool.

Yeah, her voice is a little high, but that’s just because she’s a computer. Other then that, It’s pretty awsome!

I found Vocaloid by mistake on youtube something like a year ago while searching… Err… Dunno, I forgot -.-
However I was fascinated about it, since if the program is used well the voice is good enough to be mistake for the voice of a human (and so I started to imagine about robots with a similar program wich are able to speak in a way wich isn’t too stereotypated, like eloquens for example).
As far as I know the voice of Hatsune Miku is from a japanese Idol, like all the others vocaloid’s “characters”… The last time I checked there were 5 voices.
Between my friends there were 5 videoclips wich were pretty famous and since I don’t know how to link a video on this kind of forum (my fault, sorry) you’ll have to search them by yourself:

I think vocaloid songs sound like poo. 99% of the artists immediately try to go for the unrealistic tones an the pitch goes way out of whack and before you know it, it sounds NOTHING like a human being.

If they made her sound like a real person, then I’d actually listen to some of it for fun, rather than for laughs.

The best thing to ever come out of the Vocaloid phenominon. Bar none.

While I like some of the music done with it, most of the songs sound far better when sung by an actual human with real talent.
