This is ONE of the MANY things that America does to piss me off.

This is one of the reasons that I’m not American, or a citizen of any country for that matter; they all suck.

I thought you liked Prince Poppycock? ^_^

I adore Prince Poppycock. I’m glad he made it through, ILB… HOWEVER PRETTY-BOY TEEN AND CYSTIC FIBROSIS GIRLS DON’T BELONG IN THE FINALS.

Future Funk was really awesome. They were like what, 10 and 5 years old? How could they have been eliminated?

And I thought this had to do with the fact that Sarah Palin got more popular in the mid-term primaries…. Oh well, reality singing shows suck anyhow. Wait till you guys get X-Factor next year. That’s Cowell’s brainchild that put Jedward the twincest freaks in British Isle TV… and the bastards are from Dublin too…

Tee hee. Only, Gabriel, it almost seemed as though you’d changed your mind about him. ^_^

And this is why I don’t bother watching crap like that. The right people almost never win.

@ Kazi: Bush. Twice. Uh-huh. (He wasn’t actually a Texan by the way. Hearing that felt like I had passed kidney stones that took ten years to remove.)
@ Gabe: My girlfriend’s cousin has cystic fibrosis and she needs a new lung. Yesterday, they found a match for her and brought her into the hospital and prepared her for surgery only to tell her that they weren’t going through with it. True story.

@ the thread: WTF!?!? prince poppycock butchered queen! i will never have respect for a man who can manage that. (i feel very strongly about this and will resort to swearing in a minute. so i will cut this post short.)
@jerk: bush isnt texan?

Bush isn’t Texan. He was from New England, possibly Connecticut, and moved to Texas. I don’t remember why. I think he owned a sports team at one point. I don’t really want to look it up or I’ll get pissed off. And my blood pressure is just short of impending-aneurysm right now.

@Johnny: They did that? That is just horrible ![]()

Would-be politicians watch certain states for a receptive vote base and an incumbent in their party not seeking re-election, ideally in a governorship as governors are more likely to be elected president. So, you see, both he and his brother were being groomed for a potential presidency. For the record, that’s also how Hilary Clinton became a senator. She knew about the impending Senate vacancy and established residency in New York to launch a campaign. The two party system is like competing cliques that make sure people they trust are in positions of power.

I’m throughly pissed off right now. Why? Because America makes terrible, terrible choices repeatedly when it comes to voting on reality television. Most notable example: America’s Got Talent.
Last night was an elemination night for the first half of the semi-finalists. These are the acts that made it through:
Anna and Patryk
Prince Poppycock
Michael Grimm
Christina and Ali
Taylor Mathews
HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT. As far as singing goes, only Michael Grimm’s performance was amazing enough. Most surprising, though, was that the electrifying ArcAttack unfortunately didn’t make it through. Also shocking, the cute, adorable, and talented Future Funk was eliminated as well, despite a huge fanbase that they have built.
America is putting crap acts through to the finals. Keep in mind that the winning grand prize is a headline show in LAS FLIPPIN’ VEGAS. Every year it becomes American Idol for the finals.
This is why reality television would benefit from a system like the electoral college.
Dicuss how America sucks at voting for anything ever.
