Like a loose cannon on board a sailing ship, you can be unpredictable and rather random. Unlike a loose cannon, you tend not to discharge into your ship or crush people under hundreds of pounds of metal. You are not easy to read like Jerk or Leaving a comment. And the enigma and puzzle comparisons were too cliched for me.

@ Leaving a Comment : I didn’t mean to blow you off earlier in the poke thread, but I had to get back to set construction. I just got out of that, normal school days for me are 9:00am-9:30pm with production weeks running up to 4:00 am on occasion which last for two weeks every three to four weeks. Weekends included.

In any case hope your sister’s operation goes well Miw, I had a couple surgeries myself.

And Johnny, you already know my standing with your situation, but still rooting for you two.

For the record, if you are very very ill and someone loves you very much, it probably does not occur to you to watch what you say sometimes so as not to scare the living shit out of those who love you. Case in point, Jessie, it is not okay to tell me that you died temporarily as a way of saying you passed out from exhaustion.

I’m sorry, I’m actually laughing about this now, but that kind of thing would not have occurred to me. I almost threw up from that.

Jerk, I know a guy, sixteen years ago the doctors gave him three months to live about 6 months ago they gave him about one month to live. he has had plenty of predictions in between the two events. He’s still alive and seems in perfect health, doctors are not always right.

I tell her that every day. You can bet your ass that if I can help her fight this I will, and, believe me, I am doing everything in my power to make sure she’s in a good mood no matter how much she hurts.

On a sweet note, she lapsed into Dutch before going to sleep tonight.

Hey, can I give you some advice I wish I’d had when I was younger? When you make friends with a professor, STAY IN CONTACT WITH THEM. Part of grad school application is that you need good contacts. And me, being goal oriented instead of social, have very few of those.
