I really don’t know where to go with this one. Sandy is Mike’s “girlfriend,” and he is very loyal to her. I don’t see how the writer can end that relationship to open one with lucy. He has already eaten up the one there was. Don’t get me wrong, I am a “team Lucy” member, but there is no dues ex machina here. Maybe she destroys Mikes heart, and Mike becomes dependant on Lucy?? i like that >. I wonder if Zach and Sue are a premonition of things to come.

@ ILB: Every time someone on the front page calls Mike a jerk, I’m going to yell, “Fuck the Mike Haters!” Actually, I’m wondering if I should start a thread regarding stupidity on the front page. Like, a drinking game or something.

Well, calling him a jerk is quite different from calling him an… a you-know-what… or hating him. Who knows, perhaps they’ve seen you and now think of “jerk” as a compliment. ^_^

Granted, only a select few people would think that “jerk” is a compliment if somebody called them that, but calling others names is a funny business.

For instance, many people will consider it an insult when people say they look like their siblings, but other times they can say the same to their friends and only think of it as a positive thing. ^_^

I’m not entirely opposed to PauloxLucy, I just think that despite what it looks like, Paulo can’t bring himself to really “want” Lucy.
In the last few chapters, Paulo has been shown to actually want Mike to fall in love with Lucy, he even thinks Mike is a dick for turning her down.
I know I may seem to be pulling this shit out of my ass, but I honestly think that Mike and Lucy should be the way to go.

Let’s all just take a chill pill, get some drinks, and talk this over reasonably. As much I support MikeXLucy, I would be okay if PauloXLucy happened. I would like to learn more about Sandy, before saying I would be okay with MikeXSandy, though.

But the big thing is, I want Lucy and Mike to at least have closure. I want them to smile and be friends again, if nothing else. I can understand if one pairing is canon while another isn’t, but the idea that their friendship is destroyed forever just goes too far.

In other words, I’m fine with any pairing, as long as the characters learn to accept it and become friends once more.
