Things that make you happy.

Puppies, Kittens, Cookies and Milk, and that feeling of triumph when you PASSED that barrel in Carnival Zone Act 2 in Sonic 3 without getting a time out. Yeah!

Wait, wait, wait. So, I’m new round here and have just finished reading up all the comics, must say I’m impressed, greatly. But, uh… Enough with the drama? Isn’t that what half this comic is?

And anyways, my happy place is full of kittens, except devon rex kittens, they scare me.

Ah, hello there, newcomer!

I wasn’t referring to the comics when I said drama. Some of the forum posts that a good chunk of people were engaged in was… shall we say, had a bit of drama themselves. And even the fairly non-drama posts have lots of constructive and/or immature arguments in it.

I just created a post for everyone to forget all that and be in their happy places. A sort of the magic lotus of the forum, shall we say.

Anyways, things that make me happy…
Music during a loud storm, loud storms, clique-free coffee houses, coffee houses that don’t attract just one certain type of people, a day of doing nothing, being a part of something larger than myself, singing, music, drawing, reading, reading a book by a fireplace, the beach, reading a book on the beach, tanning on the beach, sleeping, sleeping on the beach, etc….

Kinda breaks the pristine wilderness of a relatively new forum, huh?

MTV in the UK started showing the Ren and Stimpy Show again. I honestly didn’t remember they were so creepy when I was a kid. But there’s not such thing as comfortable humour any more so you get used to it XD. Anyway there’s a new collection off the show with all episodes uncut and uncensored including the new ones coming out this year.

Oh yeah, forgot. Things that make me happy: a good home meal, awesome music. Kitsu Noodles! When I’m not fighting with family or mates, a good book and going to the cinema.

@ Pronkat: Did you know that Frank Zappa did a guest voice on Ren & Stimpy in the last year of his life? He voiced The Pope. xD That was a magnificent man.

You know, I can’t even date girls that don’t have a certain amount of joie de vivre, know what I mean? It’s so bloody necessary, otherwise it’s just me and her draggin’ each other down. That ain’t right. I love life too much.

Gah just got hit with a whole wave of happiness when I looked at my wall and saw a poster a bunch of kids in the school band signed/drew on for my birthday.

Oh we were one big happy family, I didn’t even know like three of the people that signed it~

Summer, drawing, hanging around with my friends, sitting under a tree in the shade, light rains, music happy or sad, dark nights, cute animals, webmovies, comedians, and my computer games.
Oh and cake. Lots and lots of cake ^_^

Feeling like a part of something, like making it to the photograph we were gonna use for one of our teachers (one that we actually liked who’s in the hospital.)
Ummm, walking though Boston around 1 or 2 AM on a warm spring or summer night, finding the inspiration to draw, getting along with my room mate, CANDY and thinking about complicated electronic/mechanical stuff.

Yeah..not super materialistic, but hey that’s a good thing, right?

Whenever there’s a blooming decent day in Dublin! When the weather isn’t just a prick changing through all four seasons in the space of 12 hours and the sun shines on. Oh, those rare, absolutely appreciated days…

The snow line practically came down to San Francisco last December for the first time in 33 years. I miss the snow…

The adrenaline of finishing a project/report/homework, etc two minutes before it’s due. I don’t know why but I prefer it to the feeling of knowing all is done and well a few days before.

descovering a fantastic comic on the internets an reading through 3 or 4 years of archive in a single sitting makes me happy. also sleep deprived.

Chopping off heads in a single stroke, it’s surprisingly hard to do. But it is so worth it when it works!
A close second would have to be chopping someone in half, not the wimpy across the belly slice, but the overhead slice that leaves two perfectly equal halves.

Oh! And looking over Taeshi’s shoulder while she’s drawing the next page of the comic!
