Bittersweet Candy Bowl

So what do you think of the Pokemon that have been revealed so far?

Here are my opinions:
Chillarmy- Probably the cutest Pokemon ever.
Emonga- Another cutey. They’re really outdoing themselves with cute this time
Giaru- WTF is this!?
Gigaiasu- It’s like they’re failing with “badass” this time around.
Gochiruzeru- Screw you, ILB. I am not this Pokemon. It’s not even emo. It looks like it’s trying to be Gothic Lolita
Hihidaruma- Again. WTF.
Kibago- (insert “Land Before Time” reference)
Koromori- I really miss Zubat.
Kurumiru- It’s a step up from last generations caterpillar Pokemon, that’s for sure.
Mamanbou- Looks like a stuck up bizzatch.
Mamepato- Pidgey’s inbred cousin.
Meguroko- I think it’s cute. Also, hahahahaha MeGUROko.
Mijumaru- Go away. No one likes you.
Minezumi- OH GOD THOSE EYES
Miruhoggu- OH GOD THOSE EYES AGAIN
MoguryuuDiglett was a better mole Pokemon…
Munna- Where the hell is its face?
Musharna- Seriously, where is its face?
Pokabu- Ugly Spoink ripoff…
Reshiram- Everyone knows of the ledgendary penis.
Shikijika- I am catching a load of these and then reenacting that one scene from Bambi where Bambi’s mother dies.
Shimama- So it IS white stripes on black!!!!
Swanna- I really want it to evolve from Wingull.
Tsutarja- Like a boss.
Victini- What an adorable little scamp.
Wargle- I don’t care what anyone says. This Pokemon is both badass and mildly offensive to Native Americans in the best way possible.
Yanappu- Possibly the stupidest thing they have ever made.
Zekrom- The reason why I want White Version.

Again, it’s probably the cutest Pokemon ever. The rest can go suck it.

Meh, I’m not going to get white/black, I decided when i got it that SoulSilver would be my last.

MEH. Until they improve the fight sequences I couldn’t care less about Pokemon.

i say make it for a more advanced system like the wii and put you in direct control when you send a pokemon out so it can be action like the anime, no more turn based combat, make it real time and fuckin insane,

also that grass type looks like a smug bastard so i will probably choose him for my starter

The only ones i like are the grass stater, the chinchila thing, and reshiram

For the rest, i must admit that many of this pokemon look just like remodelled designs of previous pokemon (i’m looking at you, green monkey thing)

Will someone convince me that they’re not making the same game all over again? Nintendo profiteers, I get that, but they update their games and take risks periodically with every franchise, only Pokemon doesn’t seem to have changed that much. And it could be so much more awesome than it is. They showed us that on the N64, but proceeded to cocktease us until now.

Chiraamii (chinchilla), Emonga (flying squirrel), Kibago (looks like Larvitar), Tsutaaja (the grass starter), and Zekrom (black legendary for Pokemon White). Im going by the Pokemon Sunday given names.

But yes. My opinions:

Tsutarja: Possibly even cooler than Treecko. Depends on whether Ash’s gets to smoke a twig, too. ^_^
Pokabu: I like it, actually. Although it took me a few times to appreciate it.
Mijumaru: I agree with you there, Gabriel. I hope it gets a fun evolution, at least.
Minezumi/Miruhoggu: Hee. Those eyes are magnificent. ^_^ I don’t like Miruhoggu is as much as I do Minezumi, though.
Chillarmy: What? Cuter than Pichu? No, but certainly cute.
Munna/Musharna: Actually, these are my least favourite so far. Drowzee was bad enough.
Giaru: Not my cup of tea, so no.
Mamepato: It has potential, certainly. Not the best Pokémon, but looks like it could be fun with eventual evolutions.
Hihihadruma: I’m disappointed in the turn the Fire-types have taken.
Shimama: No, not my favourite, either.
Meguroko: My, you have a dirty mind. ^_^ I think other new ones are better, but it’s a cute little critter.
Moguryuu: Yes, Diglett was more fun.
Koromori: I don’t like this, either. I want to get to the ones I like soon ^_^
Wargle: It’s just smashing. Yes, I think I’ll really like it.
Rankurusu: I like it, but I don’t know why.
Gochiruzeru: Hee. I apologise, Gabriel. But I do think it’s a nice Pokémon.
Kibago: Ooh, this one is marvellous. Harkens back to Land Before Time and Larvitar. ^_^
Mamanbou: … No. I think they could have done better with this one.
Gigaiasu: Not bad, but not especially good, either.
Shikijika: I really like this one. I’ll catch several just to keep at least one in my team at all times. ^_^
Kurumiru: Hee. It’s really cute. Who were the caterpillars from the previous generation, by the way? Generation IV had none, I think.
Swanna: Middle of the tree, I think.
Emonga: My absolute favourite of Generation V. It will take a lot to change my mind about this. ^_^
Yanappu: I don’t think calling it the stupidest is justified. But I admit that there are far better Pokémon.
Zorua/Zoroark: These are fantastic, too. Especially Zoroark.
Reshiram: No, I don’t like this one. Zekrom is far better.
Victini: Ooh, yes. So far it is my favourite legendary.

I like the format of the game and all the stuff they’re adding, but come on! A freakin pidgeon and a couple of gears? They really have ran out of ideas!

I have a couple ideas:

- better battle sequences
- better graphics
- more complex background and storyline
- Michael Vick reference

Perhaps this might mollify you a bit. I have no idea how it will look, but that is at least some of what they promise. ^_^

As usual, ILB has set me straight. Thank you. As soon as they put out a few post-development videos I’ll reconsider my position on whether or not to come back to Pokemon.

(1998: 151 Pokemon in Red and Blue. My claim to make any commentary on Pokemon at all, I graduated from the Old School with Honors.)

Gah, dammit ILB, and there I was thinking they couldn’t get me to buy another game, now I’m reconsidering my views.

Reshiram, Zekrom and Wargle are all the awesomest, the rest can go get judged by cartman or w/e.

those three are awesome because chuck norris would catch them for kicks. Plus, they are the coolest legendaries yet with the details and thr aura of awesomeness. they only ever get better with legendaries, but its hard to beat kanto and johto normal pokemon. Haunter ftw, Mew is annoying and Mewtwo is the Legenedary Mk1

The others, save for palkia and giratina sky form all suck. too rounded, too feathery, too weird or too cute to be badass legendaries.

The best norm/legendaries pokemon ever from each region (in my opinion):
Kanto: Haunter/Mewtwo
Johto: Scizor/Lugia (despite its childrens toy look and terrible name)
Hoenn: Blaziken/Deoxys
Sinnoh: Gallade/Giratina (Sky Form, land form is fat and slow and retarded)
New Gen: (currently) Wargle/Zekrom (cuz it has arms not faggy wings)

yh i may have been rather harsh, but im not an extremely nice person most of the time. which explains a lot. you’d get it if you knew me.

@ MiwAuturu: Trade in your old games, bro, the crappy ones that you could never see yourself playing again. I did this with books at Half-Price books and unloaded most of my old useless stuff. Should take some of the sting out of buying the new one, no?

@Chaz - Origin Forme, you mean (yes, im a total geek for this stuff). In HeartGold and SoulSilver, it likes to poke at your feet (boom, boom, boom). And I agree that Lugia and Deoxys were awesome.

@ILB: That Rankurusu one is one that I like also. It reminds me of a “Lilo and Stitch” character, like, one of Stitch’s cousins actually.

I haven’t really been into Pokemon all that much…..The latest version i have is yellow version for the game boy color…….

Kinda sad that the pokemon with the stupidest name is the only one I like (minus Smugleaf)..

I’m still of the stance that I’ll probably continue to buy Pokémon games untill the day that they resort to furnature for inspiration (Pillowswine was dangerously close).

Pokemon gets darker and edgier. It becomes the first game to depict user-controlled bestiality. It actively allows you to slaughter one Pokemon to feed other Pokemon. You can use your Pokemon to murder humans.

Haven’t really paid attention…I have doubts as to whether they can top 4th generation.
Regardless I’m not buying White or Black version, I’m gonna wait for “Gray” Version (or whatever they plan on calling the third game).

funny as that was, its kinda nasty,

also all of the first ones can beat the ones their fighting. example: autism is incredibly scary. ( i saw movie where an autistic girl was brought into a vacant hospital and she drew terrible pictures and tried to communicate, as each of the people in the hospital were murdered by an unknown man with scary mask o.O)
