Warning: My mind is fucked up and I decided to combine two of my favorite things: Dead Space and BCB. The following will have many problems logic wise and blah blah blah DON’T BE HATIN’! For those of you who just don’t care and wan’t to see how this will end up, Enjoy

“We’re going to be late!” Screamed Micheal as he ran down the street. Mike then took a peak at his watch and noticed it was 8 A.M.”Damn it! We’re late!” he gave out in desperation, ” That Giant Math test is today!”

“This is your fault!” said Lucy full of anger, “Look where your ‘shortcut’ Brought us!”

They looked around to find that they where hours away from the school. “OK how does that even happen?” asked Mike.

“I don’t know but now we have to hurry up! we may miss our math test but there is also the history test right before Lunch!” said Lucy as she walked past Mike.

“H-hey! Wait up!” said Mike as he started to chase after Lucy.

They arrived at the school a couple of hours later…
“All the windows are blocked with some sort of plating…” noticed Lucy.

“they’re probably just changing them!” replied Mike.

” I’ve got a bad feeling about this…”

WHAT?!? People might be interested in this story?! well I’ma hafta continue it…. but not now I’m busy >.

At first I was a bit skeptical but upon thinking about it, the BCB cast put into a survival horror setting might prove to be interesting. Now if only it involved zombies instead of dead space, but hey it’s your story.

I could totally imagine Mike in an Isaac Clark suit. Continue the story, I’m really interested.

The two entered the school, It was partially lit and the air smelt funny but there was no real difference. As they reached the end of the entrance corridor, they heard a loud crash behind them. The roof had collapsed in front of the door, a crushed body covered in blood was among the debris and multiple pipes aimed upwards, as if they were ready to impale the next unlucky soul to fall from the hole above.

“This is very bad…” commented Mike, “an-nyways, w-we should probably k-keep moving”.

As they turned around the corner, they froze in terror seeing the next hall: The walls were splattered with blood and there where torn bodies everywhere. One of which attracted mikes attention, mainly because something on the bodies wrist was glowing and partly because the body was wearing some strange armor. Mike slowly approached the body and examined the glowing wrist.It was sort of a metallic fingerless glove that went up the forearm with a gap at the wrist so that it stays flexible, there where two empty prism shaped slots on the main part as well as a red holographic screen being projected with writing that read:

Status[Deceased]
[Error #348: system lock down//Bio-scan required for new operative]
[Detecting [1] video signal//new operative required to open channel]

Without thinking, Mike quickly detached it from the corpse and attached it on himself.
the screen immediately reacted:

[Scanning …]

RIG status[ERROR]
Rank[ERROR]

[opening channel[1] of [1]]

The screen then showed a man in a strange mask who seemed who said ” Finally a signal! Listen my name is Isaac Clarke…”

Hmm I hope you don’t mind a little constructive criticism, not trying to hate here. Mike and Lucy’s reactions to the dead bodies and blood splattered halls are a lot calmer than they should be, I mean I would be freaking right the hell out in that situation. I do like the reference of Mike not having a last name though.

JuniorBoomer is right, I expected a huge freak out.

“HOLY SHIT THEY ARE ALL DEAD OH GOD OHGODAIOSJOFHIGHKDKGHNAOISJD”

well it’s to late for that now!

” Listen to me, stay calm, I’m not sure if you can hear me properly but if you can meet me in the basement. I’ll explain everything there…” said Isaac, “oh and be careful, they are using the vents to get around the school. Run the second you see-” he was interrupted by a familiar voice who yelled: “Dammit Isaac! Help me out wi-” and the channel cut short.

” Stay clam? He wan’t us to stay calm?!? THERE ARE DEAD BODIES EVERYWHERE! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO STAY CALM!?!” yelled Mike instantly, “and he wants us to go in the BASEMENT to where he is? What if HE killed everyone! how do we know this isn’t a trap!?! And what did he mean by ‘they are using the vents to get around?”

All of a sudden, they heard a sound, as if someone was banging on metal. ” D-did you hear that?” asked Lucy.

Just then, a creature burst out from the vent. Mike and Lucy Screamed on the top of their lungs as the creature approached: It was David, except something was off , he was covered in blood and had a blade sticking out of each of the palms of his hands. And his eyes, they where all black except for the pupils which were red. David slowly approached them before he let out a giant shriek and began to chase after them.

” RUN TO THE BASEMENT!” screamed Mike as he ran down the hall.

Mike and Lucy ran down the hall, followed by David as heflailed his arms around, trying to get either of them. Eventually, they saw the stair case leading down into the basement. But as Mike reached the stairs, another turned student burst from the vents blocking Lucy and forcing her to go around the corner and continue to go down the hall way, David Chasing after her. The other student slowly turned around to face Mike who then ran down the stairs like he had a propelor in his ass. As he reached the bottom of the stair case, he quickly ran down the short hall way to the boiler room, the only room on that floor assides from a few storage areas which were normaly packed with equipment of some sort.

” Dammit! Someone please help me!” yelled Mike as he ran.

Just then The door to the boiler room opened and Isaac readyed a large rifle of some sort. ” Outta tha way!” he ordered as he started to shoot. Mike quickly stuck to the wall and watched as the monstrus student was ripped to pieces by Isaac’s blaster. In a matter of seconds it fell to the ground like a stump, having no limbs to keep it up.

“Holy fucking shit” said Mike under his breath. He then Proceeded to rush to the ‘safety’ of the boiler room.

” Well, well, another kid, you OK?” calmly said Isaac.

” OK? I’M FAR FROM OK!” furiously responded Mike, “What the hell happened to those people!?! What’s going on? And what do you mean by ‘ANOTHER kid’?”

“Mike?” said the familiar voice from the transmission, “what are you doing here? Where’s Lucy?”

Mike slowly turned around to face him. “Paulo?”

Paulo was standing there next to the door wearing the same armor as Isaac exept without the Helmet Isaac was wearing. “Mike, where’s Lucy?” asked Paulo again.

“w-we… we got seperated…” said Micheal sadly.

“YOU GOT SEPERATED!” responded Paulo with the rage of eleven freshly raped inmates, “YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK AFTER HER! YOU SON OF A-”

“Enough Fighting!” cut Isaac, “If we wanna survive against these Necromorphs we need to stick together! Don’t worry guy’s we’ll find your friend But first Paulo, I need to ready this guy, what’s your name?”

“M-Michael” sadly said Mike, ” Bu-but*sniff* you can c-call me Mike.”

“Alright Mike we need you to calm down and put this on” says Isaac as he passes Mike a body suit, “hurry up now, the longer we take the less chance of her survival. Now I don’t have another helmet or Stasis Module but I see you found one.” He then points to the apparatus on Mikes arm.

“A stasis module? what does it do?” asked Mike.

“It slows down objects and enemies” responded Isaac.

“WHAT?!? YOU DIDN’T TELL ME THIS BEFORE!?!” yelled Mike, ” If I knew THAT Lucy would be here with us!”

” The signal was bad on my end, I wasn’t even able to see you let alone hear you, how was i supposed to know if you could hear me?” said Isaac, ” Now put the suit on, hurry up! hen I will give you your weapon and a kenisis module.”

Mike put on the armor and Isaac ran down a bisics tutorial about the different systems and meters on the suit such as the RIG.” Your RIG is a life support system it realeses a transparent fluid that acts as a pain-killer so that you can perform the best possible at all times, the meter on your backshows your life,once the rig reaches below zero the rig malfunctions and you die.” explains Isaac “Now put this cartrige in your satasis module, it’s a kenisis module, I’m sure you can guess what it does. And finally, take this, it’s a plasma cutter it’s very useful against necromorphs but you have to aim for the limbs, shootin’ em in the body does’nt seem to work. got all that?”

“ya…”answered Mike.

“HAH!” exclaimed Paulo, “You’ve got nothing but a plasma cutter? I on the other hand have a Line gun, it’s much more powerful!”

Mike looked at Paulo angrily until Isaac gave him a flame thrower, “Take it, I already have a Pulse rifle and a contact beam. Now are we ready to go find your friend and get out of here?”

“yes sir” said Mike and Paulo at the same time.

“Then let’s go” said isaac as he opened the door.

huh… never played the game… but this seems very much exactly like it… except in a school environment…

Too bad Lucy ran out of breath and was eated by a necromorph cat

Isaac with dialog sounds strange…

Mike seems to not care much about the fact that he lost Lucy…

Mike saying swear words is weird to me. I always think of him as a calm guy who tries to think of the best possible solution to all the crap he goes through.

Normally I would like reading other people’s material, but it’s just not the same when it’s other people’s material being made into someone else’s material… don’t recycle people’s characters, dialogue, plot, and setting without making it interesting… you just piss everyone off.

Isaac does’nt speak in DS1 He only speaks(or at least he’s supposed to) in DS2 so I’m not taking anyone Dialog on Isaac’s acount. In fact, the only thing that was kind of taken was “what happened to the people here?” and Kendra Daniels says something along those lines at the beginning of Dead Space

The Three walk slowly down the small hallway, their weapons ready. “Up the stairs, quickly.” ordered Isaac as he began to run up the stairs. As they reached the first floor, they began to walk down the corridor in the direction that Mike said Lucy went. The corridor was filled with blood, but there where no bodies except for one, it was laying in the middle of the hallway, his eyes wide opened and starring at the ceiling, he was missing a hand and was stabbed multiple times. Then came a bat-like creature which swooped in and wrapped it’s ‘wings’ around the corpse and jabbed this large proboscis the body’s skull. it immediately began to change: The eyes began to slowly darken and a blade began to grow out of it’s arms. “Oh god, shoot it now!” barked Isaac, realizing what the creature was doing, but it was too late, the corpse stood up and watched the small group, then ran forward towards them, the bat creature following.

“WHAT THE FUCK!?!” yelled Paulo as he shot his line gun at the necromorph, but it totally missed and hit the infector, killing it.

Mike was frozen with fear from what he had just saw and despite the necromorph running in his direction, he didn’t shoot, he was too terrified to know how to react, so Isaac stepped in and blasted the creature with his contact beam.” get yourself together Mike, If you want to find Lucy, your gonna have too carve your way to her with that cutter, through those slashers.” said Isaac, “‘Sides these Necromorph are nothing compared to the Ishimura’s!”

“Ishi-what now?” Said Paulo, “Never head of it.”

“Heh, That’s because it doesn’t exist yet.” responded Isaac.

“…Okay now I’m confused…” expressed Mike.

“That’s Because I’m from the future” explained Isaac, ” The Ishimura is a Planet Cracker-class mining starship that will be built in the future. It found an artifact known as ‘The Red Marker’ which had within it a deadly virus: The necromorph virus. The contamination spread quickly and the entire crew was killed. My team and were responding to a scrambled distress call, when we arrived at the ship, we got trapped on after our ship exploded, after a series of events, I escaped the Ishimura, and after a while i accidentally went into a worm hole which brought me to the year 2005. And here I am now.”

“That is covered in so much bullshit, that if there weren’t monsters trying to kill us, I would never believe you.” Said Paulo

“Anyways let’s continue…” said Isaac.

I’m just saying, the thought of Isaac talking is weird. I know he’s gonna talk in DS2, but his personality in DS1 was mysteriously awesome.

I thought Mike had more courage, but I guess seeing an infector necromorph reviving another necromorph can change a man :p

Anyways, I’m still interested to hear more…

Ya but they decided to let Isaac talk solely but cause he had no personality in the first DS I need Isaac in this story to be the veteran who knows what to do and who passes his knowledge to Mike, and he can’t do that if he doesn’t speak.

Meanwhile at the other end of the school….

Lucy ran away from David who was shrieking as he chased her. She then noticed and open class room, without thinking she hurried inside and slammed the door. But David’s arm got caught up in the door and the force of the slam severed his arm from his body. David recoiled in pain, and Lucy got and idea, she picked up David’s severed arm, opened the door and stabbed him in the middle of the chest. to her dismay, this had barely any effect and the necromorph readied his other blade to attack, so Lucy pulled out the blade from David’s chest and sliced of his arm. David recoiled again and fell to the ground, dead. Lucy stared at the body for a while before she heard the screams of more Turned students, and then she continued to run.

As she ran she began to hear Mike’s voice calling to her, she then saw him. He was in the middle of the hall, and he was wearing his old scarf and he was smiling as if nothing was happening, “this way Lucy” he kindly said as he began to walk down the hallway “I know a safe place”.

“Wait Mike! I though… How did you… HEY WAIT!” said Lucy as she chased after him.

He led her to the janitors closet and turned around, “Stay here and don’t come out until I ask you to… I’ll be back, and Lucy, I lo…”

“Mike? Mike?” said Lucy as she turned around but he was not there. So she got in and closed the door.

The trio advanced into the hallway, from time to time they would encounter a slasher which would be quickly brought down by Isaac and Paulo. Mike could not bear himself to shoot the necromorphs… But then was not his time. As they passed the Gym they saw McCain, he was stuck to the wall by some sort of organic shit that covered the floors, he was missing half of his body and his torso was slit vertically in half and his intestines which were slowly becoming tentacles were flopping downwards. He was wailing in pain with tears flowing down his face as the growth slowly assimilated him. As they passed by, Isaac told them that there was nothing they could do and that they should keep moving, yet Mike stood in front of Alec for a while before finally reacting. Mike frowned as he aimed his cutter at Alec’s neck, “Shut it McCain,” he said as he pulled the trigger,the screams finally ending, McCain’s body slouched forward, he was dead.

Mike stared at his cutter for a moment before being called by Isaac, he then sped up in order to catch up with Paulo and Isaac.

After an hour of searching, Isaac came to a dead stop, ” That’s it I’m calling an end to this rescue mission, we have other things to do than to search for your little friend, mainly, we are going to destroy this school.”

Mike and Paulo looked at each other for a moment before Paulo exploded, “WHAT!?!” he asked, “YOU CAN’T BLOW UP THE SCHOOL UNTIL WE FIND LUCY!”

“Paulo, I hate to break it to you but your friend is probably dead!” stated Isaac, ” and we can’t allow the necromorphs to escape, the only solution would be to destroy the school, taking down the necromorphs with it!”

“He’s right Paulo,” added Mike sadly, “Lucy probably is dead, and these necromorphs are gonna pay for it! If Lucy is still alive, we’ll find her, but until then, we are going to set the bombs and we’re going to get ready to go out with a bang!”

Isaac smiled, “so what do you say Paulo? care to join us?”

“Fine, but guys, we’d better find Lucy…”

” we will Paulo, we will.” finished Mike with pride as they set out again to place the bombs.
