The adrenalin just seemed logical to me. Though I’ve since been told that it would make a torture victim bleed out faster.

They mention in the movie he cut the guys eyelids off and the guy thretend to do that at the begining of the scene. Just wandering

I thought the story was fairly good, (and fairly gruesome) but the thing that gets me is… why would sandy do it? I’m all for twist endings and shit, but really? Sandy doesn’t have any motivation to do it. Now if it were the opposite, sandy in the chair and lucy doing everything, so instead Mike damn’s Sandy instead of Lucy, that would make a bit more sense. Idk, maybe its just me wishing lucy was behind it the whole time :S

Also, this kinda reminded me of Higurashi, you ever read that?

Sandy does it so that Mike will hate Lucy forever.

There is a big long explanation for why she did what she did, but I couldn’t think of a way to insert it into the story without it being forced exposition. I belive I explained it somewhere in this thread so feel free to go looking.

As people have pointed out, my knowledge in forensics is rather limited and as such, the police probably should have figured out it wasn’t Lucy. BUT, since I’m the writer, the story says that they didn’t look further into it, figuring they already had their killer, and as such, Lucy was blamed for the gruesome murders of Mike & Sandy, and was sentenced to life imprisonment in a mental institution for the criminally insane as she was in a catatonic state.

I read this at one in the morning in a dark room.
I was not afected other thant the realisation that mike should probobly just be like “I think I’m gonna lose stuff now” and then get over his life ASAP or suffer as he did and I was frustrated with the whole eye thing because this eyes would be fried by the high power lights anyway.
I found it to be at worst an unfortunate series of events without humor
but the comments… some of those were hilarious
and I have no boner.
still, It was very good entertainment.

there was supposed to be a voise chip but the mask and blurred vision and other sences should make the voise hard to recognise on there own.
yes the adrenalin needle needed to be removed very quickly.
The adrenalin would have increced the blood pressure greatly so that every ounces of blood should have squirted and with a sharp object moving around in there It should have been very quick.
all the dna evidence and hair strands on the equipment could be dismised because it isnt hard to dress a dead person and put their fingerprints everywhere.
as for angles. It can only be determined that SOMEONE shot three shots by mike and SOMEONE shot sandy other than sandy. that last part is the coffin calling.

I was led to this story after seeing the cover image and the “Get to the point” image in the galleries… Im not sure if I regret it or not. But you did a good job, I felt scarred, repulsed, uselessly hopeful and incredibly sad

Um you had me till the until the double cross. what made sandy snap? also if some one tortures your friend and hands you a gun afterwards wouldn’t you shoot them first? Oh and wow you wrote about the male tom’s having a penis claw. um gross but still it’s the details that make a good story. Try to find an editor in the future, I think you have some raw talent.

@Kaze I think she was planning on ruining Lucy’s life and possibly an afterlife… Not sure why she wouldn’t consider that she would go to hell herself.

I got the effect she was going for I was just confused about the motivation. Lucy kinda has the motivation to snap and kill some one over unrequited love. I can see the added stress from Paulo and (the Liam thing if it’s cannon) pushing her over the edge. Sandy only really has the separation anxiety. If any thing she might be inclined to lash out at her parents for making her move, and for forcing a kinda adult career of on her.

Depressed a bit, but a good read…

It’s mildly annoying that people keep comparing this to Law Abiding Citizen. The only similarities are the mirror and to a lesser extent the eyelids (He threatened, Sandy actually did it).

There’s a long ass justification for why Sandy snapped that may or may not have been posted somewhere in this thread. It just didn’t fit anywhere in the story, so I left it out, because I’d rather have her motives unclear than have a sloppily inserted explanation.

Long story short, she wanted to die, and she wanted Mike to die with her so that they could be together in the afterlife. Didn’t want Lucy getting in the way, and Mike would never agree to it if she offered up the idea of a dual suicide, so she concocted this elaborate plan to kill both herself and Mike, and leave Mike hating Lucy for all eternity.

It was the twist that was the worst! Dude… poor lucy, broken and blamed. I hate it when the bad guys win. And the penis electrocution was just gratuitous…

Some people complaining about forensics not finding out it was Sandy. Real life isn’t like CSI. If a crime has a probable cause and no one to dispute it, it’s done and archived and never investigated. If Lucy was in a catatonic state she wouldn’t even have been able to argue with the cops… once in the institution for the criminally insane, even if she recovered enough, no one would pay her much attention.

She thought the only logical solution was to torture the man she loved to death, and then be martyred by his other old flame… Do you really think she was thinking rationally enough to take all of this into account? She convinced herself that there is an afterlife, and that by killing herself and Mike, they would go there together.

Yes, I know this has a million holes in it, makes little sense, and the worst offense is that it’s not even in the story… But TBH, this whole thing was written because someone said “Hey Mav. Write a really gory story about Mike getting killed to balance out all the times you’ve killed Lucy.”

And then my twisted imagination took it and ran with it.

If you think it’s poorly made, you’re probably right. And there’s a million justifications for why. But I don’t want to fall into the trap of sounding like someone who kicks and screams just because someone has criticized my work :\

I just have a really bad habit of justifying most mistakes, because I’m generally aware of them to some degree. I don’t mean to sound like a know it all, or like I’m kicking up a stink because I think the sun shines out of my ass and that I should be immune from criticisms. I’m not!

So no need to be sorry King. I appreciate the critical eye. This just isn’t the best story to turn it onto due to allot of factors, the least of which being that I had to rush the ending and never had a chance to properly proof read it.

I have read other guro fics before, and here are somethings that stick out from them.

And from a movie I saw before….Punching a pregnant woman and eating its unborn baby like an apple.

While your story didn’t hit the gory-disturbing levels like those stories, I definitely felt the emotional feel of it. Now I feel like Falcon Punching Sandy’s face off. Good job.

That made me very sick to my stomach. I usually don’t have a good ability for reading these kinds of things. So much so, that when I came to the… “organ” part, I just skipped a couple paragraphs and didn’t give it another thought.
