It’s not that bad if you know the right people, besides it’s better than being under the control of my father, but what about you. Journalists aren’t exactly welcome around these areas. Hear about a big story or something?

*Abby already doesn’t like this pushy journalist*

Adam didn’t know how to react to Autumn’s wink. He blushed and hoped that she didn’t see. Adam doesn’t really care for too much attention, but when you’re trapped in a murder case where anyone is a suspect, it’s unavoidable.

*Autumn smiles.* Journalist aren’t welcome in any part of the city except the at the shows. There’s always a big scoop in this city, you just have to look for it. But yes, there is one in particular that I’m here to dig for.

*stops next to an open door*

This trail went a little further than I’d hoped. Hey, Adam? Love? Check this out for me, will ya?

Well isn’t that a coincidence, you come here looking for a story and somebody gets murdered. I don’t suppose the two could be related could they?

*Abby stares at Autumn*

Oh don’t worry dear, I have my eye on you too. *Autumn winks and laughs at Abigail’s surprised reaction.*

Adam walks towards Paula. He tilts his head to the side in curiosity, as if to say, “What is it, Paula?”

Could you go first, please? I’d rather not risk getting… blood on my shoes.

Somewhat annoyed, Adam complies with Paula’s request. He opens the door and enters the room.

(I know this contradicts things a bit, but from now on this is the canon. ^_^)

Well, this is terribly surprising. Look, a puddle of blood. And nothing else.

*glares at the reporter*

Unless you think you can find anything?

Adam got blood on his shoes. He quickly took out a handkerchief and wiped it off. However, he was confused. There was a puddle of blood, but no source was visibly seen at the moment.

*Autumn scooted past Paula.* Well maybe if you looked a bit more you would see Three bullet holes in the floor Dual.

*She leaned down pointing them out.*

(No, I just thought it was unnecessary to point out how many bullet holes there were. But I might be wrong; I have no idea what you meant by it. I’m sorry. ^_^)

If this is where the murder took place, that means the killer wanted us to find the body. They also must have used a silencer so we wouldn’t hear the shots.

(Sorry i was playing a game,but im back now yooo,also a silencer produces a sound,it may not be nearly as loud but it still makes a sound)

Bra-vo. Any more obvious things you’d like to point out, hon?

(But hey, as I have said earlier, the din inside the club was quite loud so the silencer could have done the trick by chipping of the sharpest bangs. And the fact that it was in a side room also helps things.

Now, how Raphael was moved without anyone noticing… Everyone dead drunk, perhaps? ^_^)

Paula’s words reminded Adam of last night with Autumn. She seemed to make a big deal out of paying for him. He glared at the journalist.

*Secretly follows the expedition group as they head out*

*Autumn smiled as she stood up.*

Sometimes Paula, the most obvious clues are the most helpful and revealing ones. I can only assume that a mixture of alcohol and sleep could have stopped us from noticing anything odd like a gun shot, it’s quiet common around here. And the killer could have dragged Raphael out when no one was paying attention but it still doesn’t seem kosher to me.

*She noticed Adam’s glare and smiled in return.* What seems to be your problem honey?

Well, if you believe you can make something interesting out of that, be my guest. He was shot here, and that is all. Hum.

*turns on her heel and walks towards the door*

Come, Dani. We’ll have nothing to do with her.

(Now, let’s say for the sake of argument that everyone except Autumn leaves the room. Dani and Paula leave first, and go upstairs all by themselves. Then the rest follow suit, one by one (including Miller). Autumn is left alone, trying to gather some more sense from the scene of the crime.)

*Begins backing up up the stairs as he looks down,slowly he turns around and follows everyone. Hoping he wasnt too loud*

{DEATH OF A FLAPPER}

The inseparable pair of Paula and Dani disappeared upstairs. The rest quickly followed suit, each walking in their own direction. Autumn, now left alone, stared at the door through which all the others had disappeared. Evidently reporters were even less popular than she had imagined…

Suddenly, there is a shriek. A split second later, there is the sound of an M2 machine gun being fired. The screaming continues, and the startled denizens of the ground floor are soon running up the stairs. Autumn, too, stumbles to her feet and sprints out the door, soon climbing the steep steps. On her way out, she sees Miller, who seems undecided as to which direction he should go…

On the first floor, there is a strong smell of heated lead and blood. A tall figure is standing, petrified, next to a dress-clad body lying on the floor in a dark red puddle. Autumn approaches it gingerly.

There, face disfigured from multiple gunshots, blood gushing from wounds all over the body, quezarilla broken from a wayward bullet, lies an easily recognisable flapper girl. The reporter stares up at Dani, who manages to stutter: “She’s dead…”

(I said I would do it. Oh, I hated playing that character. ^_^ I’ll be Voice of God, or possibly one of the leftover personas, from now on.)

Adam headed to the bar after leaving the room. He was hoping on checking up on Stu. However, before he can get there, he hears gunshots and screams. He rushes to the source of the sounds. There, he sees Dani and Autumn alone in a room with a dead Paula. He turned his head towards Dani as if to say, “What the hell happened here!?”

Holy shit! guns!!

*he runs upstairs after being pushed aside by autumn and see’s the dead flapper,he walks over to the others cautiously,Slightly curious as to how the killer got away again.*

Oh wow..another one?! this person seems awfully rash for a killer,you could even hear the gunfire!

*Runs to the sound of gunfire too worried to notice Miller*

Oh god, they got Paula…

*Turns to Dani*

What the hell happened here!?!?!?

*Autumn quickly hardens her stomach and looks around the room.*

Dani where did the gun shots come from?

Michelle was sleeping downstairs when she woke up to the sound of gunfire. She hurried out of bed and up the stairs into the main room calling out.

“Where is everybody!?”

She stood around for a while, very confused.

*still petrified from the experience*
*talks in a distressed voice while crying*
I..I couldn’t tell. It just…oh god Paula! It happened so fast! Why Paula?!
*crys uncontrolbly*
(it’s fun playing a girl and this is getting really good)

She hears crying coming from upstairs and hurries to find the others.
“What’s going on here?!?”

(Trying to get back into this as quickly as possible, sorry.)

*notices Michelle*

ahh…two people seem to have been killed,while you were gone…To be honest im pretty confused right now but that doesnt stop me from trying to make the best of things!

*he smiles again but it fades quicker than last time*

(I think i’m gonna call it a night. lots of homework to do.)

Michelle stands there, dumbstruck.

She wobbles a little, looking just a bit pale.

*Autumn pats Dani on the back.* Why don’t you sit down for a bit Dani girl? Yes just take a load off right there. *Autumn places her hand on Miller’s shoulder.* Be a good lad and go grab a sheet to cover Dual with.

(assume i get a sheet from downstairs or upstairs or w/e because im gonna log off now,autoplay on)

*moves over to the windows*

The killer must’ve stood here. Look, there are muddy footprints on the sill.

*stares out and down*

… And there’s a rope and an open window on the ground floor. The killer could’ve been any of us.

*Upon hearing the shots Duke hurries over to the origin of the sounds.*
“Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap, what happened, did someone else get killed?”

*Sees paula dead on the floor*
“Not good, very not good. We might be dealing with something a bit more serious than just a grudge, either that or an opportuninst decided to take advantage of someone already getting killed.”

Impeccable timing by that opportunist, then.

Either way, we should be on our guard. And be careful not to let those thugs know that Paula has been shot…
