I know what you’re all thinking. ‘Didn’t he already make this thread?’. Well, this thread is different.
The other one is about auditions.
Anyways, we’re currently at a standstill with the series. I’ve made this thread for suggestions or any thoughts about the animated series.
Just type up what you think, it could reeeeeeally help us with a lot of things.

It would really help if you elaborated on how you are stuck for those of us who didn’t keep up with the progress of the project. Like me.

OK. We’ve got the story (duh), and we’ve got the songs picked out. What we’re stuck on is animation software ($80), we need more people to audition, and a website (also money issue). Those are just the major issues.

As for money, a little saving should be able to fix that shortly. And why do you need a new website? Why not just post it here, and it Taesh and Suit like it, have it be built in to this website?

I’d love to help with auditions (I have a very flexible voice) but my Ninja code prevents me from doing so. Sorry.

So that leaves Mike, Lucy, Sandy?, Tess, Augustus, Carter, Carson, McCain, Sue, Kizuna?, Amaya?, assorted parents and teachers, ans the pets. Right?

What kind of voices are you looking for for each major character?

uhhhhh. idk. i usually listen to people and then think who they sound like.

I think you should download Flash 8 from somewhere over the internet… flash is one of the easiest programs for animation… if you know how to use it…

If you have a Mac you could get “Pencil” for free. It works relatively well. Also, Adobe has a huge student discount going on so if you have an ID you could pick up one of their programs for (I think) 10%-20% off.

Ehhhhh… I’ve been kinda lazy about this. But I duno. People on here keep telling I have a good reading voice. I doubt I sound right for any of the characters, but if you like I could send off a few recordings and see if you think I suit anyone?

If nothing else, I can run naration fairly well (Don’t actually remember if there IS any Naration in BCB, so this may be a fruitless offer.)

Well, I can see us working naration in there for certain scenes. Or you could be some background characters. We just need people to audition. Let’s see…..

Other people like Tessa, Sue and Jess or Rachel can be easily filled, but we still need auditions.

Well if I DO want to audition, how am I supposed to record myself? What am I supposed to read? How do I submit?

As for money problems well…save here and there, maybe make some sort of donation thing for people to help out =]

@happehface - Record it on Audacity or any other kind of recording program and send us the audition. Read whatever lines that you want from the series, just tell us who you’re auditioning for. Send it to Draixen’s Yahoo! email (draixen@yahoo.com) to submit.

Age limit is 13, but there are exceptions.
