It’s endearing how you always react like that when people disregard your title. ^_^

im on Magnus’s side. i cant stand love. im not even sure what love is, but it depresses me that pretty much everyone around me has found love. im told im charming, but im not really sure how to talk to people (as you may have guessed) as i tend to stay away from conversation. Plus everything i touch turns to shit so i have a good reason for not interacting with society as much as is “reccomended”.

Chaz: It’s a lot like everything else; If you’re out of practice you’re going to do badly. You have to just do some crazy crazy shit until all your fear of conversation is gone. Then, breaking the ice is easy.

My problem is that there’s NO WOMEN…ANYWHERE near where I live. I’m not afraid to talk to people anymore, and I’m damn happy with how college life has changed me… :( but there are no girls at tech schools. Oh well, i can keep fantasizing I live in an all girl’s university until then…

Are you in prison? No one will call you gay if you give in to alternative outlets to those urges.

But they will think it very loudly.

@Vince: As i said it’s a tech school, and the degrees they offer are male-dominated statistically. The school has a 27 to 1 male:female ratio, and the girls that are there travel in packs, determined not to allow their kin to be swept away by the hordes of lonely nerds :P

point-love has multiple definitions. i for instance, love everyone, but also hate many people. i think im kinda like ender like that, once i interact with someone in any way (talking, playing football, etc) for about 10 minutes or so, i feel i know them, and i love them like a brother.
because of that i kind of love everyone before i even meet them.

I’m a hopeless romantic. I hold many fairy-tale like assumptions about love and it often is the cause of my oversensitive perception to love. I cry very easily when I see someone’s heart shattered, be it a friend or a character that I like. When I see a sort of true love portrayed I can’t stand to see the flame go uncared for or die completely.

I also hold many old fashioned ideals about love, and a few that seem like common sense that aren’t very much followed any more, such as the trust you need to place trust in your partner and the fact you shouldn’t cheat on them.

I’m also a very firm believer in saving yourself for marriage and that’s what I’ve promised myself I’d do.

I COULD say something like “love is the fools wisdom and the folly of the wise” - I COULD tell you about my old man who allways said that anything worth getting is worth waiting for - I COULD bring up the philosophical view of the buhdism that pain and life is the same, and as such the cost of the love-pain you feel is nothing more than the price for life - I could tell you that the “nice-guy” effect has so far earned me only friends and no romance - I COULD do all that, but seriously, how would that help you? I know that I don’t know sh”t about love … but THAT might be the first thing you have to learn.

Don’t write off love just because you have only truely experienced the painfull kind - you might not know enough to make that decission yet

i personally have accepted that i will probably never find love (romantic sense) since i have a constant urge to leave everything. just leave and wander and fight. and i would require someone with insanity to match my own.
but i still enjoy my life filled with love for the world, and friends who love me. the key is to see all the paths you can take, and make a difference in the world

(where is the love-black eyed peas)

I’ve always told myself that if I could just find gay sex more attractive I would just marry a guy. Gay guys are always funny anyway so it’d be like a party until he whips it out and starts talking dirty.

Then I start crying.

I’ve been in relationships with verying levels of love and up to date i’ve been ultamently considered Bigbrother Lark and not Boyfriend Lark, they just don’t make the transistion. But even through all that i still don’t give up hope. I’m with a girl who’s 3 years older then me and i think things may last this time. To her i think i’m Boyfriend Lark and not Bigbrother. Point being, i’ve been called a heartles bastard for years now and some how this girl gave me a chance and got through the ice, so if i can find it then i know all yall can.

I read that and it breaks my heart a little, partial because I’m a giant sissy and hate to see someone unhappy, but mainly because I’m a die hard romantic, which disappointingly does not mean taking off your shoes, crawling in air vents, and relocating your shoulder seven hundred times before asking someone out in order to stop the Russians. I’m that guy who read this and thinks, “He just needs to meet the person he is destined to be with forever and eve-wait a minute that’s stupid that doesn’t happen.” I always wanted that mushy love stuff, like love at first sight, perfect dates, and soul mates. Obviously, now I see that that isn’t how things work, but I still daydream about that idyllic fantastical relationship, of sitting on the couch, watching a movie and snuggling. Snuggling. I have lost the respect of people for that word. Seriously, walk into a bar and start talking about how much you love to snuggle. See if you aren’t beaten up in five minutes, and I guarantee you will not get a personal possession back.
P.S. Still love snuggling. Ladies… and gentleman.
