I’m sorry, but this book is hilarious and would be so much more so if it got rid of all the technical talk and shit.

You know those bumper stickers of dog silhouettes that say, “I Love My Beagle” or some such nonsense? I had an idea for a bumper sticker like that but the silhouette is a woman on a leash, and the caption is something comedic like “I Love My Girlfriend.”

Actually, no. I can’t read practically anything written in the nineteenth century. Except for Dracula, but we can largely agree that Dracula is awesome.

Because it’s so boring and verbose. I can read Hemingway and Faulkner and Steinbeck but very little before that.

Oh. You nearly had me thinking you had a debilitating medical case that prevented you from reading pre-1900’s novels. ^_^

I actually like the verbose novels. They take time to read properly, but there is so much hidden in them that if you look closely, you’ll have days of fun. It is like that for me, anyway. ^_^

i hate books that spend like a page describing scenery, with no significant metaphors or anything.
