What would different breeds look like in this comic?

Comment ID #94758

This is a personal question that just boggles my mind. I’m really just curious. Make a list of different breeds and some art if you have any that’s relevant. I’m just curious about how it would look in Taeshi’s style. fyi I DO NOT CARE ABOUT FANCHARACTERS!!

I already have a list:
dogs:
rhodesian ridgeback, bullmastiff, great dane, chihuahua (what would such a ridiculous thing look like?), doberman, pug
cats:
maine coon, persian, scottish fold, american curl, sphynx, manx, savannah, egyptian mau.

Persians would be horrifying, altough I guess Tae would find a way so that their faces didnt look like they got hit with a shovel….

Same thing for pugs, who wants a character that is so brachycephalic that he can’t breathe?

But that’s exactly the thing that makes me curious. What would a brachycephalic breed look like when all the normal breeds already have a fairly flat face? I NEED TO KNOW THIS!

The gauntlet has been thrown, taeshi must draw these absurd breeds to show the werld what they’d look like.

Although I have the feeling all the dogs will look the same xD

Well obviously we would end up with characters with either flat flaces or concave faces.
Simple math I guess.

I say that Daschunds are just taller.

The entire basketball team is composed of Dachshunds. And there’s a token cat, but no one really cares when he plays.

What if said cat was like, a occicat or something? Maybe he just spends all his time on the bench due to personal fouls…

Tee hee. A Great Dane. He would sit on Augustus and Confrontationcat, and they would never be heard from again. ^_^

It’s a terrible pun, a commentary on the state of things (another bad pun right there) and a cultural reference to a more or less obscure line from Shapespeare’s Hamlet. Oh, and a mildly exasperated sigh. ^_^

I’d like to see how a Dachshund and a Basset Hound would look like :)

Oh, and here’s a strip with a handful of different breeds: http://www.bittersweetcandybowl.com/c54/p4.html
