Bittersweet Candy Bowl

A simple short story about a group of friends bickering on a hot summer day. Something I think you folks would be interested in given the love for cat and dog teenagers in the area. A slice of life tale focusing on comedy and introduction of the ‘Cookie Jar’ Group.

I will say this is not fan-fiction, and these are not fan characters. Most of these characters existed in one form or another before I discovered this lovely comic. I certainly would consider it ‘BCB-inspired’, and maybe even taking place in the same universe; But it really isn’t based around the heroes or stories of Tae’s comics.

Lets call it a homage hmmm~? With one tiny little exception ;p

The story will be split into four parts for easy reading. The first two being completed so far.

Part 2

Focusing mostly on the three girls of the six person group. The boys getting their chance to shine once the next two parts are finished. Give it a read and tell me what you think!

Hm just a side note here…. the reason I went into detail on the ‘this isn’t fan fiction’ is because.. last time I posted a work and called it ‘semi-fan-fiction’ it got a few people upset despite the fact they enjoyed the story… because well… it ‘isn’t’ fan fiction. Its centered around a different cast after all! Even if i inserted tiny Cameos all over the place it’d still not be fan fiction when the BCB cast aren’t the stars.

It was fun to read while in development, though I only read a very early version of it. =P

Yeah I admit I banged into a bit of a wall with that one. I wanted -something- for that joke and.. couldn’t really imagine Sophia going as far as to tear it off on her own. So *shrug* I got a completely random NPC to show up and do it. With a little Cameo hintage for the sake. That being part of the joke really:Sophia asked for a ‘Random pervert’ and got just that.

Edited so it really is just some random pervert now. Handy thing about these documents.

Liked it, the silly slice of life stuff is the best. I really liked the awkward intonation in Samantha’s last lines, also Danny is adorable and I know someone that acts almost exactly like Rhythm. For that matter I also know someone that acts exactly like Vicks!
