The first game I ever had was Pokémon Crystal for the GameBoy Color, but my mom’s car was broken into and they took all my games, including that one. Then my mom gave away the GameBoy Color without telling me.

Pokemon Blue,
Funny story about it too, it was christmas when I got it: I didn’t have any system yet at the time, but in my socking was a case for a GB. Not long after I got blue version from my parents, but still nothing to go with these two gifts. Finally we open our presents from Santa, and even my young self had already managed to figure it out. Inside was a GBC.

It was either Spyro the Dragon for the PS1 or Super Mario 64 for the N64. (my uncle used to bust out the N64 when I visited) The part that sucked the most was that I didn’t have a memory card for the PS1 so I had to start from the beginning every time but I still loved it. (I was about 3 or 4)

First game i ever played was Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES at a friends house. First game i ever owned was Super Mario World on my SNES. My fave game on the SNES will always be Super Metroid. Since then i’ve owned every nintendo system including all the gameboys so here’s a list of my 2 faves on each.
NES - Punch Out and Castlevania 3
SNES - Super Metroid, Final Fantasy 6, and Legend of Zelda Link to the Past (Had to do 3 here, i love my SNES so much.)
Game Boy - Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening and Tetris
Game Boy color (might as well) - Pokemon Silver and Wario Land 3
N64 - Starfox 64 and Blast Corps
GameCube - Metroid Prime and Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader
Gameboy Advance - Megaman Zero 3 and Golden Sun 2
DS - Castlevania Order of Ecclesia and The Word Ends with You
Wii - Mario Galaxy 2 and Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
I do own sony’s systems too so might as well…
PS1 - Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 8
PS2 - Kingdom Hearts 2 and Marvel VS Capcom 2
PS3 - Fallout 3 and Modern Warfare 2
and of course for PC
kinda hard here cause its one platform but i have a few faves
Starwars Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, TeamFortress(1 for quake, classic, and 2) Rollercoaster tycoon (im a child at heart) and half-life 1 and 2
Theres probably more, but PC is too general.

After reading all that, i feel old -_-… all this games came, i bought 1 or 3 games and then, to buy the new console, i sold the previous, so…i don’t have them any more except for the PSP, PS2 and XboX.
The first game that i had was an Atari 2600, with the Asteroids, a Football cartridge and a tennis one, and the frogger.
After that, i jumped to NES with Nightmare on Elm Street, Super Mario/Duck Hunt, Super Mario 3.
Super Nintendo, Super Mario World.
Game Boy Color, Pokemon Gold.
PSX, Castlevania, Symphony of the Night and Resident Evil 2.
Nintendo 64, Conquer’s Bad Fur Day
Game Boy Advance, Castlevania, Aria of Sorrow.
PS2, Ridge Racer 5 and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil
Nintendo DS, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow.
PSP, Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition. (It was cheap, as UMD, after that, M33 FTW) Favorite until now: MGS: PW
XboX, Halo 2

My first console was a Sega Genesis, I got it as a gift along with a game named 688 Attack Sub… Since I was 6/7 years old the only thing I was able to achieve was to be randomly destroyed :\
Soon after the same who gave me the Genesis gave me other games too and one of them is still the one I prefer over the other still now: Sonic the Hedgehog
As for the first game for every game system, here we go:
Snes: I got varios games all togheter, they were Mortal Combat 2, Mortal Combat 3, a Super Mario Game and a soccer game (I can’t remember the exact names)
Game Boy: Tetris
Game Boy Color: Pokémon Blue (it is not technically a GBC game, but I got it with it :asd![]()
Game Boy Advance SP: Pokémon Ruby
Play Station: Can’t remember well… If I’m not mistaken it should have been Formula 1 ‘98
Play Station 2: Time Crisis 2… Without a G-Con… Really, it wasn’t so fun with a controller :asd:
Computer: If I’m right it was a game named Maddog 2
For the last question, there are my favorite games:
GB, GBC, GBA: Pokémon Blue (I don’t like a lot GB’s games, pokémon blue was innovative to me but all the other games I tried were pretty same to each other)
Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Street of Rage
Nes: I never owned one of them, but I was able to play all the classic Megaman series… Megaman 2 rocks
Snes: Megaman X, Megaman 7 and Actraiser
Play Station: Metal Gear Solid, FF7, FF Tactics and a lot of other games… I enjoyed all of them a lot and I can’t just say “I like this one” :asd:
Play Station 2: Time Crisis 2 (once I got a G-Con) and Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana
Computer: Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights 2 and Ultima IX: Ascension (add Ultima Online if we consider MMORPG)
Uhm… I guess that’s all :asd:

The first ones I remember having were Winter Games and some weird ‘driving’ game (can’t recall the name at the moment) for the Commodore 64. As for other systems, I can’t quite remember them all.
Favorites:
C64: Winter Games.
SNES: Tie between Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Kid Klown in Crazy Chase.
N64: Tie between Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Playstation: Tie between Saga Frontier, Final Fantasy Tactics and The Legend of Dragoon.
Dreamcast: Bomberman Online.
PS2: Okage: Shadow King.
XBox: Fatal Frame.
360: Tie between Fallout 3 and Deadly Premonition.

What is the first video game you have ever had?
Was it for Gameboy or Dreamcast? Xbox?
What was the first one you’ve had for each gaming system?
What is your favorite game for each one? (Doesn’t need to be first (Off question I know ._. ))
The first video game I have ever had was Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 for the Gameboy advanced. I loved that game so much, but I was really afraid of the Bosses in each castle, except for the first one. I would restart the game just to play that on castle. The kind of levels I HATED were the ones that moved, so if you stayed in place you would get pushed into a wall or fall of the map.
