So how good a shot are you? (if no guns, swords, ect.? )

I’ve gone shooting enough times to know how to do it for sure. Although I would only be the killer if it was “me or him” in the sense that this person was trying to kill me too.

Everything I did, I did for my country.

Never shot a gun in my life. Don’t know how good I’d be with one. Or any weapon for that matter. I just happen to hate people in general enough not to think twice about killing someone in a scenario as you have laid it out.

Yeah I get you, but if it’s a guy the balls is my target. If it’s a girl leg or shoulder if he/she isn’t to far away.

HB are we talking about shotguns still or what? Because from the targets I’ve shot at, it’s pretty much either “kill them dead” or “blow their leg off” when it comes to buckshot…Aiming at the shoulder would shoot them in the head. Also a nutshot from a shotgun is probably lethal. Probably.

i think about this a lot, and i believe i could. I’m a pretty good shot with a gun, and a bow and arrow.

It’s a browning short and long depending on the round. A mosin nagant? Cool. I have a thing for historic rifles. I’ve always wanted an M1 grand.

The mosin was a shock to me. I’ve fired plenty of slugs before but that gun kicks like nothing I’ve shot before or since. It’s incredibly heavy, but without that weight it would be unbearable to shoot more than a couple shots in a sitting.

The Russians also mastered the “metal rifle butt” pad, so even a heavy winter coat couldn’t stop your shoulder from bruising. The rifles are about $75-90 at gun shows and are very common and reliable. I highly recommend buying one even if the ammo is about $1 per round.

If it were him or me: yes. Otherwise I would have to say a likely no.

@HB: Well, my M9 cost $650 alone and the ammo for that’s anywhere from $0.15 to $0.80 a shot depending on what I’m looking for, so I’d have to shoot a mosin about…

@HB: It’s incredibly hard. You only have one point of contact with the gun, so you’re constantly shaking if you don’t have the arm strength… and even then it’s not easy. One magazine out of it and I realized just how much of a joke the movies are.

the closest I can compare it to is that I have about the same grouping from 10 yards with my berretta that I get with a .22 rifle at 75 yards standing. It will take a LOT of practice before I even think of defending myself with it.

Yes i could, but my Dessert Eagle .44 mag is heavy but i’ve used it many times so it has become a comfertable weight in my hands, but it still has a kick so if i miss at shot one i may not have a second chance.

I could only kill for survival, loved ones, revenge, food, boredom, sport, spare change, experience points, etc.

I believe all life is precious and the loss of life should not be worshiped. This belief even extends to (and I hope I don’t set off a big backlash, and if I do, I will edit it out) people like Hitler. Yes. The world is a better place without them. I agree. And yet, I am still sadden by the idea of lost life. Its like potential gone to waste. Every life loss is a life that could have done great good for the world, had things been different.

That said, at the moment, if someone threatened me or a loved one, I would kill to protect them or me.

Ask again when I’m in one of my ultra-depressed moods and it may be different, but for now, I would kill someone to protect myself or another I care for.

There is know way I could kill another unless perhaps a loved one was in danger…I would still need therepy afterward.

Oh, experience points. Yes, if it has so little backlash (the only possible backfire would be the player coming to your door with a stained-steel baseball bat afterwards), then sure. ^_^

But no, I do not think I could kill even to save anybody I care about. Of course, I have no idea how I would react in such a pressured situation, but I am fairly sure that I do not have it in me (excuse the expression) to take a life. Yes, I would do all I could if anything like that happened, even hurting (pacifying. Oh, come on, now. ^_^) or knocking said person unconscious, but going to the extent of murdering them? No, I do not believe I could do that.

well, this is incredibly vague, so here is my probably vague answer:
#1: in a war; yes, without hesitation.
#2: in situation where one of us is not walking out, besides a war; it depends who he is.
#3: if he would then go to threaten my family; i would not stop until i knew he was dead.
#4: if it was one of those situations where it was you, or a friend; i would let him live, cause i’m just nice like that.
#5: if it was a duel to the death; i would kill him.

umm… i cant think of any more scenarios at the moment… so… yah.
