Bittersweet Candy Bowl

Alright everyone. Here’s the deal! We all love BCB, and we all want it to be successful. So! I propose that those who are willing and have some spare time do a little leg work for the site. Through a cunning use of stealing SuitCase’s & Taeshi’s hard work and formatting it a little, I have created the following poster advertising BCB.



What I want everyone to do, is take this poster (Preferably the printer friendly one I’ll link at the bottom) and stick it up around your local area. Put it on bulletin boards. Stick it to lamp posts. Ask local store owners if you can put one up in their store window. Whatever works!

Do I think this will suddenly usher in a new golden age of thousands of readers coming to the site? No… Not really… But hey! Every little bit helps right? And I’m all for doing whatever extra I can to help make BCB the success it deserves to be!

So fire up your printers… Ready your courage… And let’s make Taeshi & SuitCase proud!

I’m probably one of one people in my area that would read this comic and like it.

id put it up but goven im the most notorious person in my school it would only make the comic full of douchebags. like… bigger douchebags than me.

You’d be surprised how many people who seem to be all ‘manly men’ and wouldn’t seem the type to like cute highschool drama stuff, really DO like that stuff secretly and behind closed doors. Give it a try! You never know

Well no one need’s to know who put the poster up so it’s not a notoriety thing.

Besides. Most people would just read the comic and never touch the forums or IRC. So go ahead and put em up.

i cant even walk into my year’s social-area to ask the head-of-year if i can put up the poster, without being jeered at and being pelted with drink cans (sometimes not empty) or having a “posse” of them stalk over and back me into a corner and start hitting me with blunt objects. so yes, it IS a notoriety thing.

@happeh: Nah, everybody can appreciate some comedic romantic drama every now and then. I probably have half a dozen of my friends reading this now; and trust me, none of us is really effeminate or wimpy, we’re all 6 foot tall testosterone-loaded machines of manliness, but we can still bawww at touching moments.

@Chaz: Act crazy and bite somebody’s ear off or something. It’s as good a bet as any. They would at least leave you the hell alone.
