How to break into a house.

*For educational use only. please try only on your house.

Remember, I'm only 13, so I'm not responsible for injuries and such.

Today, I was locked out of my house. I was faced with two options. Stay outside, or break in. I decided break in, and started. I tried opening every possible window. Then, I remembered that my back window was able for this, because I toke out the storm window! so i went back there, and sure enough, with a hammer end, I pried it open, and it worked.

So, if you need to break into your house or such, remember this...
• Is any windows locked?
• Is a door unlocked?
• Is there a screen door? (You can punch through those to access windows)

Well, That's all!

Lol. I've got a bedroom window that is two inches above the shed roof, so if I ever need to escape, I can open the window, clamber out onto the roof, and shimmy down the adjacent stack or rainbarrels. Works the other way too. :P

Speaking of punching through screens, I had this kitten who got behind a box fan that held up a window. The box fan fell out, trapping the cat between the window and the screen. She clawed her way through, and then through the screen door 'round the side of the house. XD

Well I've had some creative ways of getting into my house when I was locked out. My old room had an easily accessible window, but it needed to be partially open already or it would be locked. This was my usual way in.

I remember one time it was not open, but I noticed that the window to my parents room was just open enough. Now, their room is on the second floor with a flower holder thingy which is made into the house below it. I climbed up and noticed the screen was on there. I didn't want to piss anyone off by breaking the screen so I grabbed my metal ruler and pried it off.

What sort of windows do you people have anyway? Back here the only way you can get through one is by either completely removing the window or just crashing through. :D

My window is a sturdy window, but It's just the same as opening it with your hands. Hammer works too!

That must have been very creative indeed.

Or not, since all you would need to do is sit there, or alternately, unlock the door, step outside, then step inside again. ^_^

Hah, I don't need to rely on the luck of someone leaving their window open, I can just pick the front door lock :-*

I don't even need a lockpick, I just go MacGrebor on it, break the light-bulb for the front light, then use the filament to pick the lock[after crushing it a bit with two rocks, otherwise its too thick to fit]

That or I can just go in through the garage, which is what I normally do when the door is locked XD

I do believe this should be one of the first things you check.

But on topic, i have a few windows in my house that can be opened from the outside, plus my bed room window which I can just jump on to the air conditioning unit to hop onto the lower roof that runs below it. Then it is just a matter of applying enough pressure to slide the window up.

Also, don't try it creepers, I have a .22 in my room for this exact reason too. :-*

OKAY SO BREAKING INTO A HOUSE IS PRETTY SIMPLE ALL YOU DO IS 1 MAKE SURE YOUR PENIS IS WRAPPED THAT WAY YOU DON'T HURT IT 2 YOU GET A HARD ON THIS IS EASY JUST THINK OF SOMETHING REAAAAALY HOT LIKE MY SISTER THAT ONE day ON CHRISTMAS WHEN SHE HAD THAT REALLY SHORT RED SKIRT ON 3 RAM YOUR DICK INTO THE HARDEST OR GLASSEST OBJECT YOU CAN FIND UNTIL IT BREAKS NOT YOUR DICK BUT THE OBJECT 4 DON'T GIVE UP.

Repeat this until results are beneficial.

Once I was locked outside the house (nobody was home and I came back first from school), and I didn't brought key with me.

But since I'm always carrying enough weird stuff that usually don't belong in the school bag, I pulled out a screwdriver and just screwed out the handle of the main door. Then punched really hard to kick the lock from the lock-frame and managed to get the door opened.

Fortunatly I managed to pull back all the handle parts and lock and put them in place, but they got stuck so I was locked inside (with no key again) and I had to call locksmith to do the rest of the work... >:(

*sigh* Southerners...
The dogdoor is how I get into my house when its loacked up, or at least it was, I have a key these days and I've grown a bit since I last tried.

I heard from an ex-con that he'd cruise around neighborhoods looking for high school sports or band signs on Friday night because they were the houses least likely to be occupied.

I'd like to thank you all for telling me how to get into your houses. This reminds me greatly of that tv show "It takes a thief".

My grandmother, who was nearly 90 at the time, climbed in through a tiny window in our house so that she could feed our rabbit while we were away. Stupid as we were, we had forgotten to provide her with a key to the front door for the weekend. Sad part is, the door inside that window was also locked, so she had to climb out again, poor thing. ._.

(She lives close nearby, if you were wondering. And she is still alive and well, but still.)

Well i know i'm safe.
I only said i used a hockey stick. 8-)
  • #24

I'm safe because my grandma is convinced my sisters friends will try and break into our house so she makes us lock all the doors and windows.
[Bonus: I live on the bottom floor,so i'd be first to know of a break-in, and I know where Grandma keeps the gun =D]

Get a towel or thick coat.

Place the towel or coat over any window when nobodies around. Best time is midday when everyone is either at work or at school.

Smash the window with your elbow. The thick fabric should prevent you from being cut

Your in.

I have some experience breaking into houses.

See, my girlfriend was staying at my best friends house, so I messaged my best friend about what time I should come over tomorrow (It was like, 12 midnight) and she said "Just break in my bedroom window and come now" so I took a screwdriver, put on my converse and set off. When I got there, her dad was in the shed with the light on, so using the shadows cast by the car, I slipped through the front gate and behind the small pile of wood stacked neatly by the house. Then it was a matter of running the 5 meters to her window and unscrewing the bolts holding the fly wire in place. After I'd done this, I promptly got seen by her dad, sprinted and vaulted over their fence.

Find the spare key?

if you have the right tools and the know-how then picking locks is really easy. i can open most locks with a sheet of laminated card.

I'd climb up onto the balcony and just walk in through the second story doors. sometimes they are locked so I'd climb on to the roof and walk to the other side where my brothers room is. He always leaves his window unlocked. so I'd have to climb down to it. Then I'd climb in and scare the crap out of my brother.

I'll try that right now

OK. I did it. The second Story doors were unlocked but I tried to climb on to the roof anyway. I did and I got into my brothers room quickly. That was surprisingly easy. Guess I'm more agile than I thought

4th floor flat... The only ways to get in without a key are to pick the lock or kick the door out.

Try breaking into this house.

The first Zombie-proof House

I suppose not being a zombie gives you a one-up on the situation, but honestly, there would have to be something pretty damn valuable inside to make it worth your while to blast through concrete.

P.S. The owner of this house might have a slight paranoia do to excessive gameplay of Call of Duty survival mode.
  • #37

A lot of people still have shitty doors that can be opened with a plastic card, or a long thin object.
