I stopped building a rocket I got for my 18th birthday about a year ago.

It's sitting on my workbench now, and it's about to be painted. I'm going to launch it in the summer, just before I leave.

It's nice to see it nearly done, I never thought it would be.

Started my first volunteering shift at the humane society as a Cat Care Attendant and it went very well, very well indeed
I think it will be a good fit for me :)

Oh and yesterday my boyfriend told me that the poetry I wrote for my friends at work were awesome and probably made a lot of people's days

I just learned that what is possibly my favorite song (because it's good and because it means a lot to me) has no dislikes--at 25000 views. A silly reason to smile, but hey, it's the little things in life.

Also the fact that I'm vacationing in Canada right now caused my google chrome browser to say that "favorite" was misspelled.

Actually, Miw, he's correct. "Favorite" is the American spelling of the world.

What made me smile today? We went to the food pantry. They had a mixed thing of grapes. Concord, red and white. It's a small thing, but it made me smile.

On Saturday, it was a lovely day out (T-shirt weather!), and I spent about three hours carving up the ice on our street and making sure the water would flow properly to the drains. Last night, I received a thank-you card from the neighbours across the street, along with two theatre passes and a coupon for a free Subway sub. That made me smile. :)
