After finally saving enough, I sent off an email to my computer guy about upgrades and he sent me back info for gutting my PC and throwing in new motherboard, 2gb nvidia video card, max out the RAM, Hauppauge capture card, new sound card and faster processor for the same price I had in mind for simple upgrades. I am both happy about it and sad because now my PC is gone to his workshop until [hopefully] tomorrow night, Wednesday morning at the latest. I feel so... naked. Using one of my Dad's Mac Books for internets until then.
