One of my multiple curses is 'Something happens on Friday which makes me unable to go to school', so no school tommorow. Yay.

Today, my high school's jazz band and I performed at a children's hospital for children with acute illnesses. At first I was extremely heartbroken and sad as I saw the condition that those kids were in. After the performance I was approached by one of the nurses working there. She had said that one of the children there who was normally unresponsive began to hum the tune of one of the songs we had played (Les Feuilles Mortes). After hearing that, I felt as though I was able to make a difference. I left there feeling happy. :D

The kids on my bus started singing "The Best Day Ever" from the Spongebob movie (I don't like Spongebob and never watched the movie, but I heard the song and it was catchy) and I joined in on the chorus over the intercom. They certainly weren't expecting their bus driver to do such a thing, but they loved it and that made me laugh.
