Bittersweet Candy Bowl at Supanova Sydney June '11

Prior to Connecticon on the other side of the world, we have indeed booked a table in the artist's alley at Supanova, a pop culture convention with a focus on comics (with a lot of animu as well). It happens on June 17-19 in The Dome at Olympic Park, Sydney.

Anyone in Sydney or Australia generally should consider coming, it's a convention with pretty wide appeal and seems sensible. But more importantly, we'd love fans to come along!

We plan on getting some books for sale by this time. It will indeed be the earliest time you Australians can get the BCB book if that works out! And with no horrendous shipping costs! Gosh.

The Sydney tickets aren't available for purchase yet, but if they're like the Melbourne prices, it's $24 for a day or $40 for the weekend.

So are there any Australians that could come? We hope to bump into readers there either way, but it'd be nice if people could chime in.

How about if we were planning on going to those cons we would tell you guys and your posts about "going somewhere else" are really not helping.

Will definitely be there on the Saturday all that is left is too purchase the ticket.

Other than the book (if it is ready by then) are there any other merchandise items you are considering taking for sale? I would just like to know potentially how much to set aside.

Hope it works out well I'm looking forward to it.

I don't see why we shouldn't try bringing along everything that we have for sale. Though I'd hope we'd have sold through all the candy by then.

Tickets have been made available now through Ticketek, much cheaper to pre-order if anyone is unsure from price perspective

I'm soo gonna be at Supanova. I missed you guys last year since I spent nearly all weekend waiting in line to see Vic. But Imma gonna be swinging by this year. Keep an eye out for the guy dressed as Shannon from Scrapped Princess.

Hey, I was just wondering if you will also be going to the Perth Supernova, or if Sydney is your only stop. And if so, will you still have a stall selling your stuff at the Perth Supernova? :)

This is great! I am excited for you guys :). If I were in Australia I'd definitely go. I do know 2 people who live in Australia that will be attending Supernova and I told them to pay H1 a visit ;).

For clarification, no book to buy (it's not ready yet), but we can bring our proof copy.

Instead, we're going to be giving the long arm stapler and INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH duplex laser printer a workout tonight so you'll have lots of neat mini comics to read.
