Do you think BCB is popular enought to have a Con yet?
Depends on what you mean by 'convention'. If you're thinking of something like PAX (Penny Arcade) or Digital Overload (Ctrl+Alt+Del), then no, BCB absolutely does not have the readership or fan support required for such massive undertakings.
However, if you're thinking of just a small informal meet-and-greet, then yes, that can be arranged. You really only need a few fans to show up in one place, have fun together, and call it a "convention". For example, fans from one of my favourite webcomics used to organize annual meet-ups to play games, go sight-seeing, and generally be geeky. These were fan-run events; only twice was the creator herself actually able to attend.
So here is a challenge, if you'd like. Perhaps a few of you BCB fans would like to take the initiative and organize a meet-up among yourselves. Presto, there's the first Bittersweet Con.
