7/10 Nothing groundbreaking or terribly original, Sum 41 tread familiar ground almost constantly. Nothing wrong with that, when they mould together some quite nice tunes. If the lyrics kept to the song itself, however, I'd rate it higher.

This song gave me calluses by the time I finished learning it.

4/10 only because this isnt a full song. I love smashing pumpkins and Billy Corgan. To answer your question: yes it does.

Spoiler

Deeerp Sue beat me to it.

Rocky Horror? I can not, in good mind set, fairly rate this in any way. I mean, I love this movie so, so much. The singing is so entertaining, and the entire song brings such a smile to my face. How do you rate that? Sure, there are things that make it less than perfect that mainly stem from it being a recorded version from the movie, but so good! "Antici... pation" cracks me up every time.
I still dislike numerical scores, but 9/10.

Cheerful and engaging, and definitely a good song for parties. The lyrics are a bit cheesy, though, and as such I doubt I can give it more than a seven. ^_^

You're absolutely correct whf. And that's why this thread is in recess, and not SS.

I don't think of this thread as having much value in opinions, I do however think it is a good way for someone to stumble onto some new profound genre or artist that they otherwise would not know about. Whatever you make of it though dude.
  • #134

oh ok and i can tell you all that you are all generally boring and ignorant when it comes to music and various other things and this thread is stupid and gonna inspire dumb arguments

I am curious to what music styles you like the most and a few bands or songs as examples.
Also, are you Snooths? If so, can I call you Snooths here?
  • #140

I can't speak for everybody, but I think it stinks you can't open our minds and share what you have to offer. Couldn't you at least pretend for one posting that there might be some reasonable opinions?
  • #141

yeah im snooths sure i would prefer it actually
