What if?
As with all Psychostick songs it is comical in nature, but this raised two questions.
"I wonder what other people's "What if?" questions would be?",and "How many people think about the same ones"
So I decided make this topic for other people to share/discuss Their, and everyone else's "What if?" questions. These can be comical or serious for all I care, because all I want is to see what other people think about when it comes to this.
Since i am the originator of this topic i will go with something simplistic first:
"What if mythical creatures(like Dragons, Unicorns, ect.)existed in modern time?"
Feel free to discuss this and/or come up with your own. Let it begin.

What if the saying "Its raining cats and dogs" was meant literally?

If that happened wouldnt that mean that cats and dogs would have a life cycle relative to the water cycle?
Evaporation: The fur of cats and dogs would rise into the atmoshpere.
Condensation: The fur would combine with other airborne particals to form the animals.
Percipitation: The animals would fall to Earth and begin life.(Personally I think dogs would have parachutes since cats land on their feet.)
Collection: Evenually the animals die then the process repeats.
Oh and the answer is yes I do have too much time on my hands.

Actually, I believe that expression has a discernible origin, and it has to do with tornadoes. Occasionally, violent winds would pull in small animals such as housecats (fish, frogs and similar have also been recorded), and then fling them away so that they literally rained from the sky. Of course, this is not common but it really only takes one person to see one flying canine and soon, we have stories of thousands of them precipitating, and the expression we all know and scratch our heads over.

Oh, a "What if?" question from me: What if airplanes in the night sky actually were shooting stars?

In all seriousness, do you think this thread is too much like that one?

Also, flying skateboards would be great. If I had a flying skateboard I'd be so awesome, I'd fly the sky and become a celebrity and get into rock concerts for free and get all the hot chicks... hell, I could do ANYTHING with a flying skateboard.

As for me, I used to think Shirley Temple was dead. And on the subject of musicians: what if Patsy Cline were still alive? (My uncle met her in Montana in 1961. She's still his favourite singer.)

You could surf inside a chocolate tube,
ride your board across the waves forever,
get wiped out and never get a bruise.
And if a shark came up and tried to bite you,
you could say "I'm chocolate, I invite you!"
Wouldn't it be nice?
Wouldn't it be nice if the world was Cadbury?
Driving in the car would be a tasty treat,
changing gears would soon become a problem.
Cadbury Dairy Milk is so good to eat!
When you arrived at your destination
you'd be greated with an exclamation!
Wouldn't it be nice?
- Couldn't find the youtube for this version
Wouldn't it be nice if the world was Cadbury?
Chocolate roads and trees and birds and bees
Delivering all kinds of letters daily,
Every kind of purple parcel too.
And if the dog did try and grab a mouthful,
You could bite him back he'd taste delightful!
Wouldn't it be nice?

I CAN eat jsut one and leave the bag.
Sometimes I do.
Then my brother would always nom that whole bag and half a second one while my parents aren't looking.
No, he is not fat.
Oh, if all the best musistians were still cranking out songs there would be more drug mouny moving about from them and from the fans of them. The America is currently feeding it's enemys with the fleash of its body and we can't afford anyomre. If the musians were still around and cranking out good songs, america would be dead.

Nope. It would be blowen to hell over and over and then when it was week it would get into anouther war like we do and lose and then be and split among whoever wanted it. It would be remembered as the hypocritical nation that fuled it's own demise.
But we would do it gloryosly and with soul.

Actually, Buddy Holly died from a plane crash and Keith Moon died from medication that was supposed to keep his alcohol addiction in check (that is a really amusing story, if only you look away from the pesky little 'dying' bit).
The reason I asked, though, was more in relation to the question of what would have happened to music. For instance, many rock historians believe that Buddy Holly would have brought music in a completely different direction than where it went, since he died so young and yet had made some profound changes in his own style (listen to "Heartbeat", then switch to "Peggy Sue Got Married"). Jimi Hendrix is considered by a wide range of people to be the best guitarist to ever live - while this is silly, he can most definitely be called one of the greatest and most innovative musicians who ever lived, and if he had doubled his time on Earth, who knows what he would have done? This is mostly true, to some degree, for all of the people I listed - if only by relation (John Bonham being a part of Led Zeppelin, for instance).
It is unlikely that any of them would have made the world of music look much different, though. But the subtle changes might still have been there.
Aww, I forgot to mention Stevie Ray Vaughan again, did I not?

but the reason it's this way is because you brought a thread that everyone could enjoy, something people'd like to talk about. "what if" is something we ask ourselves almost everyday and here we might get good answers! Although it's not as big as the "random questions" thread in RT where it turned into a chatroom, it's doing it's job

Wow what a story! Chances are that if you really had hit it off with this girl early on you probably would've just regretted more once you two split in high school never to meet again. If you go extreme you may compare your current girlfriend with your middle school love and the relationship won't be as sincere. When news hits you of her being prego it probably will make you pissed.

you're probably right, but it still bugs me like an itch that won't go away. I love my girlfriend very much, hell, I was engaged to her once...
Also, there is no middle school here, she and I were in the same class from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Nothing. We just didn't 'click' together as well as we might have hoped. After all, relationships don't always work out. But as long as you're aware of that, and can handle it, then don't let that stop you from taking a chance on someone special.
