There are no problems with the timeline you gave, as far as I can see. It's not unusual for graduates to move to a nearby larger city.
If it was Alejandro, then not only might we need Tess to fill in a bit of backstory, but maybe also Paulo. "You don't recognise me, do you?"

If Tess was drugged, well, sex would indeed be a common motive. But it could be that Tess doesn't remember having sex with Alejandro, or else she doesn't consider that she lost her virginity at that time, because she wasn't a willing participant. Or it could be that something else happened which prevented Alejandro from having sex with her. That 'something' wouldn't necessarily be Tess herself (especially if she did get drugged and wasn't in a position to resist).
Alejandro might get mad at being denied the opportunity for sex, but I'm not entirely sure that he'd be vengeful, given that he could just slip pills into some other unsuspecting female's drink at some later point.

Tess will be leaving at the end of the year, yes. That's one of the reasons why I think the Alejandro revenge arc will be happening relatively soon (in the next several months).

This is actually a good point. Why has Alejandro waited two years to get his revenge, especially when we know that he's no criminal mastermind? I'd tend to place the blame on poor story planning on Taeshi's part. And that's fine. Authors do make mistakes on occasion. What's important is that they learn from them. And Taeshi has said that if she were to rewrite BCB, she'd probably eliminate Alejandro altogether and give Augustus a different motive for his actions. Still, she has to work with what she's got now.
This is another reason why I think the revenge arc will happen soon. This particular plot point has dragged on long enough, and it's time to finish it. (As an aside, I think Abbey will be involved somehow. Call it a hunch, based on his anti-bullying campaign.)

Incorrect. Augustus has been a member of Alejandro's gang for some years.

Yeah I remember that line being brought up to question before, and as far as I know it's the best evidence that he used to live in Roseville and taught Paulo how to be a player and such. It's a very good point.

But how could Tess lie in truth or dare? It is forbidden
In all seriousness I can see where you are coming from, there are all these possibilities of what could have happened and it's all really just speculation up to this point. I can't really say one way or the other, but I guess we'll see in time. Though I do agree with it just being a rumor at this point.
On another note though I have to say your link in one of your responses to Craft Aids reminded me of something I could say on my time line. When he tells Augustus he's been in his gang for years now, assuming he moved to the city during the main cast's 8th grade year, would mean that his gang has been running for 2 or more years. If it has been running since he was in highschool, do you suppose that he brought his gang mates to the city with him? Though for the most part, we've only seen two members of his gang, one being that dog guy, and the other being Augustus. Maybe he just has a really small gang?

@Wacko: I am hoping for the same, but I feel like that arc might be too significant to be coming up so soon. If there is any indication that things could be building up for that to happen (if it does at all) then it would rest upon Lucy having further contact with Augustus and perhaps opening up to him. I can't really picture how that would play out given Lucy's personality, but I guess when push comes to shove...

That was actually something I pointed out earlier. The page in question mentions nothing about sex, so we can't simply assume that was the motive for Tess being drugged.
So then: why else might Tess be drugged? Well, probably a more common reason is simple peer pressure. That is, someone told Tess, "Try this shit! It'll make you feel real good!" And so Tess did drugs, which would explain her comment to Paulo on the next page: "It was my own stupid fault, I was a stupid kid at the time.."

"That dog guy" would be Toby.
I'd be inclined to think Alejandro had a bigger gang when he was still in high school. And you know how people part ways once they graduate (or drop out!) from high school and face the real world. Alejandro and Toby may have decided to move to another city for better jobs and/or more opportunities for petty crime. But they might still keep in touch with some of their old gang members. One of these members would be the exceptionally clever Augustus, who would've been quite the useful errand boy for them back in the day.
Perhaps one thing of note is that this city is "like two hours away", according to Sue. That's quite a distance to keep in touch (other than by phone). Also, this city is probably not Maraschino, which is an hour away, according to Mike. Or at least a good 45 minutes or so by bus.
Craft aids earlier brought up the point of Augustus being inducted into Alejandro's gang. I think we may already have seen this, on the top-left corner of page 10 of "Another Chance". The locket Augustus stole looks somewhat similar to the one Roger gave to Tess. Which makes me wonder whether Roger was a member of Alejandro's gang at one point. Maybe that was how Roger first took notice of Tess?

Catherine, by the way, was clearly innocent and being manipulated by Zach into fulfilling her parts of the plan.

It makes sense, really; David apparently knew Sandy in third grade, so she could have recruited him then, whereas Daisy was probably not too happy about being abandoned (I'm kidding, Daisy's Daisy, Sandy just knew she couldn't be trusted with a secret plan to torture Lucy), obviously Mike and Lucy can't be secretly working to control Mike to torture Lucy, and I don't think anyone else in the group knew Sandy.
So who can we trust? I think Lily is actively opposing the plan, although of course she can't dare do it openly. But she almost convinced Mike to let go of Sandy, so she's probably one of the good guys. I expect most of the others are merely unwitting pawns being guided by their limited views of what's going on and the covert influences of the agents of the two sides.
Also, little-known fact: Alejandro is also one of the good guys. Not everyone on Lucy's side supported his plan, of course, but they all recognized that if Sandy were to be defeated, Lucy needed to get over the various neuroses that Sandy's agents had cleverly planted in her brain so she could claim Mike while Sandy was still allowing him to think himself single. Alejandro figured that the best way to accomplish this was a massive psychological shock, and he cleverly set up a situation where Lucy could both save Mike and be saved by him. You'll notice it almost worked, too; Alejandro's convinced that if he can just give the impression of a little more danger, it will work next time. It's taking him a while to get his plan set up, though, since he has to keep adjusting it to the changing relationship between Mike and Lucy, but most sources expect him to act soon since right now he only has to focus on changing Mike's mind, which is probably about as easy as his job's ever going to get. He's often been criticized for his Machiavellian nature, of course, but few doubt that it was very helpful in gaining Augustus's allegiance or that said allegiance has not been quite useful. Rumors suggest that once Mike and Lucy are together, Augustus will be allowed to execute any plan he comes up with to get Daisy, and will have access to all resources Alejandro can supply. Some worry that this may lead to war with those who feel the need to protect Daisy and Abbey, but such groups have never had to fight such a formidable opponent as Sandy and this has prevented them from becoming strong, so it's probably not really a problem.

and Sandy wanted Daisy to be on her team but once she knew that Daisy liked Mike Sandy took her off the team. David isn't part of Sandy's team...intentionally. Sandy actually planted a bug in David's brain so he would be her servant, her eyes and ears while she's in rickter. David had some brain damage from the operation but no one seems to notice.
also to those reading this and calling B.S on it honestly shut up and let us have some fun WE'RE CREATIN' SHIT

So I guess i'll just sum up a few points I wanted to make.
1) I do get the feeling that Sandy is actually obsessed with Mike, however a more mild version of the Lucy obsession. She seems pretty frustrated that she cant be with him. From the page where she smacks the lockers, I get the feeling she may have asked her mother if she could go visit him, but was told she was not allowed or was to busy to do so. She also seems very intent on "making him happy" ("I hope it makes you happy") It could be that she feels conflicted about making Mike wait for her.
Mike and Sandy being together for the end of the comic seems a little anticlimatic to me however. For the end of the comic I expect that Mike and Lucy will dealwithit.gif and become friends again, except this time without the romantic involvement or bickering.
2) In 2 years of collecting notes you could do some very serious damage to someone. I've seen a kid almost have a break down from information gathered in just 3 days. I don't think anyone here could imagine what Alejandro could do with 2 years of notes, i'm sure he has A LOT of personal info, like their addresses at the very least.
3) I would have been fine with Alejandro never showing up again in the comic, but then Tae had to go and draw up that page at the beggining of the moving on chapter. I look forward to the revenge chapter since I love when pricks like that get the shit kicked out of them.
Oh yeah speaking of ass whoopings someone mentioned something about Abbey being there when this ambush happens. If Abbey finds out that the guy tried to rape Lucy while Al is right infront of him, I really would not be surprised if Abbey beats him half to death and Daisy is all "No Abbey stop nooooooooo!"
4) Tess is gone for good. We have had pretty much everything explained about her now, and if there is anything more to be added I expect it should happen in this chapter.
Meh, that will do for now.
