I have to say cats. I just like them a lot. They don't slobber all over you, don't jump up on you all the time, don't smell bad (most of the time).. And yeah. I've grown up with cats (and with dogs, too, but I prefer cats more). Although it's not just limited to plain old house cats-- I like wildcats, too, like mountain lions, lynxes, and bobcats. :3

I like cats, Also not spesificly house cats too. Big cats, lions and tigers. (Partly because the tiger is our mascot)

Our mascot is the Bobcats. As you can imagine, I quite like that pick.

I was gonna vote for "Otter" but then i noticed it actually said "other" 
Girafes are cool... and all types of monkey, nature's own clowns.
Also, the Paramecium is a very nice organism, if we're counting microzoa as animals!
Oh, and starfish! Our direct link to the invertebrates! And of course, all pseudocoelomates are super-cute.
What is a New Zealand Short-tailed Ground Bat? Is that one of those few land mammals native to NZ?

I'd like a fox. They're cuddly and scary at the same time. Not to mention they're agile and cunning, some of my favorite traits for an animal.

Voted fish, but specifically it would be the shortfin mako. Fast, surprisingly intelligent, sweet looks, and more than capable of defending itself. Watched a video where one ripped the flukes off a dolphin. You got to hand it to a predator that can do that.

Rabbits and Bats. They are seriously awesome. Also, since this is a pretty general topic, dragonflies. I LOVE DRAGONFLIES. And quite strangely, I'm able to be like Snow White, calling the animals to me, having them all over me and helping me out, only I do this with dragonflies. Awesome. 
Certainly not golden eagles though...those things are officially terrifying, watching videoes of them single handedly taking down deer, humans, grizzlies, basically anything that's 50x their weight class.
I have a newfound fear of those things.

The Kea is definatelly an awesoe animal, too. Rare as they are, they are a very common sight when crossing the alps here!

I've decided, finally! The water-bear is my favourite animal! This tiny animal can survive complete exposure to space vacuum and some even managed to survive exposure to space radiation!

Hmm... I must say that if I were to pick an animal that was not a fox, I would say a mouse. I met one in my house once, and that was a strangely fulfilling experience; it sniffed around only about a metre or two away from me and I watched it while smiling. Wish I could see that again, actually, only not in the house because there are traps set up there. ^_^

My favorite is cats. They're just so silly, all the moreso because they try to hide it. At my grandma's, you will be sitting, playing tetris, when there is an enormous racket behind you. No matter how fast you look, by the time you turn around, the cat will be licking it's paw in a dignified manner, as if nothing was happening. Often, the cat toy is still moving

Mice deserve to live, and there is a much better way to catch them, but not kill them. My dad is too lazy to by one of those nice traps though.
