I'm a bit iffy on ChirpyxBlur, just because pairings with the pets seems so, just, eeeghhh creepy? Haha. It'd have to be super duper cartoony cute.

I figured I might as well show you guys what has been taking my time up from drawing more cats :-P.
I'll go from oldest to newest. Most of these are in charcoal, minus the still life with the teapot which is in graphite, and the skeleton which is in pen.

The way you draw heads and chins are a bit too smooth and round-y, though. To me. <.<

Excuse the poor quality of some of the pictures, especially the self-portrait.
I either got lazy or as with the beat-up people was in a rush.
All in charcoal minus the self-portrait, that's in graphite.

I have to ask a question, as one who is having to draw finickety little lines every time I go into a design phase for a sculpture; how do you get the hairs so defined? I could never get graphite to do that. You must be a wizard.

I use a good ol' eraser haha. After coloring in a section, I get one of the 'sharp' edges super clean and flick my wrist fast in the direction the hair is going in. Then I can go over with a sharpened graphite/charcoal/etc to get the darker strands in the same super-fast flick kinda technique. It's just a lot of building-up and taking away.

Those classes are extremely boring. Informative, but boring, because you pretty much get sick of the drawing after so many hours, and when it's done you realize there's a mistake that you missed and you just want to destroy that piece.

Adorable character work, Carmen. I really like the way you draw the faces, haha. The birthday pic, especially. Love them fancy suits!

I plan on doing a Fall clothes series for most of the main girls(I'm hoping to do Jazzzzz, Sue, plus Rachel cause she's the bomb-digity).

I'm taking requests but I can't really promise you how soon they will get done haha but I'm trying to do one non-school related drawing a day!
