How were you introduced to BCB?

I just found it on topwebcomics when it was at 3-5 at the top. How did this comic drop to 7? :(

We should go to the homes of those top 6 and break their legs Computers! No one messes with BCB
  • #102

It dropped to 7 because of lack of new incentives.
  • #103

Stumbled upon it through Deviantart.
  • #104

I think, this is the DMLD thread with the most posts.

Was reading Two Kinds (UGHHH I KNOW) and then I google searched up "Top Web Comics" and BAM it was up high, basking in the glory of a top rated position. I was skeptical at first, but then I balls'd up and went to it and then my addiction began. And now I stalk the homepage at every midnight of the night a new page will be released. Etc. I think it goes something like that.
  • #106

You read TwoKinds but were sceptical about BCB?
Well, that's certainly amusing.
  • #107

I don't know what 2 kinds is what Is it
  • #108

Don't read it, it's horrible.
  • #109

It's really that bad
  • #110

I don't know, but something about it doesnt seem right to me.

It's like, magic, and adventure stuff, with humans and furies.
  • #111

So I shouldn't read it (I'm tempted to)
  • #112

Go ahead, if you want.
  • #113

D: I just read the first chapter it was terrible I didnt understand at all

Browsed a website and some ad for it showed up (Horrified? Run to a safer ground... something)so I thought "lets click this for randomness"

I saw the first page of "Pillow Talk" and thought, meh, closed it

saw the same ad the next day, so I clicked again and saw there was a new page up, read a bit through the comment section, saw people refer to earlier chapters. i was curious, so I decided to read, started off at chapter 50-ish and read a bit. put some music in the background that seemed to fit, and it was pretty much perfect.

2Kinds was my first web comic so i had NO expectations whatsoever. When I had read the description for BCB I was only skeptical for the fact that it was a very different type of story. But when I started BCB, bricks were shat. Long story short, dont read 2K. 8-D
  • #118

I only read half the first chapter and hated it
  • #119

I was linked to this site by a semi-long time enthusiast.

...

I don't think they want me on this forum and I still can't wait for the reaction when they find out. 8D
  • #120

Let's hope they don't make accounts just to troll you and this forum, we don't need a war.
  • #121

They had an account long before me. :>
  • #122

All of them? Are they still active users?
  • #123

Keeping him/her anonymous for his/her sake.
  • #124

But are they still active users?
  • #125

Well th--

Heyyyy you can't play twenty questions with me! D:<

What? That's not an answer! It's just a simple question.
  • #127

They'd have to claim they know me first. I still don't know how they'll even respond to this. xD
  • #128

*facepalm*
  • #129

Now now, no need to slap your face with disappointment! Think of it like a game! If you're really bored, it eventually would become obvious.

Have I said before that at first, I wondered about how much Michael had evolved? I thought he and Paulo were the same for some time, or rather, that the Paulo in Another Shoulder was the same person as Michael from the early comic, and that he had just had a very large cosmetic change.

Hey! I'm late as shit, as per usual, but we discovered the comic at more or less the same time! By the same dating sim ad! And thought the same thing about Paulo and Mike being the same person! That's pretty cool!

And terribly coincidental...

I think an ad for it shows up on the webcomic "Precocious" from time to time, and I finally clicked it after seeing it so much, and fell in love with it, so there.
  • #135

Randomly came across an ad for it one day
I liked the style but I was too lazy to actually read through it
Took me a month before I finally caved and decided to read it

Best decision ever :smirk:
  • #136

Found it through an ad while browsing through the comics here

Ad on Awkward zombie. The art and content of said Ad were awesome for me to begin reading.
  • #138

add on e621 lol XD thought it was porn because of where it was, but it wasnt and now i love the comic XD *is embarrassed as hell*
  • #139

I don't even remember anymore. I think it was recommended on a forum somewhere; who knows. I've been reading this since early 2009 so it's a long time to forget.
  • #140

The "deck her in the face" ad from awkward zombie(laughed at the irony of both authors being the female half of a 20 something year old couple).

I have to say i am like Mike (even the jerk part where he tuns down Lucy :( ), Paulo (too nervous for crush, later takes advice from upperclassmen, though not as disastrous), and McCain (ultra-long, grammatically correct, analytical comments)
  • #141

honestly, i dont know, it was a long time ago and i was young lol
  • #142

I was browsing through a comic i thought i might be interested in and the ad popped up, i ignored it but later got curious. That was at the point where the ad refused to show up for me again and so there was much google searching to be had with what i could barely remember. I remember it was when Lucy was beating up Jess so i naturally wanted to start reading it.
  • #143

I saw the link while i was reading yosh and decided to give it a shot... Then I proceded to spend the rest of the day reading.
  • #144

I was reading Romantically Apocalyptic and I saw an ad for Bear Nuts and then another ad for this, so I took a look and thought it was pretty cool :) read so much in one day
  • #145

I was reading Twokinds, then I finished it up to now... realizing there's no more I scoured the net for another Web Comic and I found this one. I am so glad I did.
  • #146

Read Homestuck if you need a webcomic to follow. You've got a week or a few to catch up before End of Act 5 Act 2 which will be an epic 10-minute flash animation
  • #147

Ugh, MSPA just takes too much effort to read anymore. Problem Sleuth was brilliant, and Homestuck started off great, but it's just too many things to follow at once. I spent half my time reading it looking back pages trying to remember who the fuck did what and when.
  • #148

What you have to remember right now is that most of the people are just standing there looking stupid and Karkat and Gamzee are hugging next to the dead body of Vriska.

For the next two weeks.
  • #149

I have no idea what any of that is. I stopped reading when they started covering just the demon people.
