I took the test again and got the same result as before, numerous of times. Here's my results.

DMLD96 (Me, obi): You are The Fool

Idea, thought, spirituality, that which endeavors to rise above the material. The Fool represents innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontaneity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity.

Basic Tarot Story

With all his worldly possessions in one small pack, the Fool travels he knows not where. So filled with visions, questions, wonder and excitement is he, that he doesn't see the cliff he is likely to fall over. At his heel a small dog harries him (or tries to warn him of a possible mis-step). Will the Fool learn to pay attention to where he's going before it's too late?

Basic Tarot Meaning

At #0 (or, in some decks, #22, the last card as much as the first of the Majors) the Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he needs to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning.

But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. While it's wonderful to be enthralled with all around you, excited by all life has to offer, you still need to watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

Basic Portrayal

A jester laughing very close to a cliff, accompanied with a dog at his heels.

His is based on numerology, which was proven false by many Tarot readers. Mine's go within the structure within psyche. If you change something like what is your favorite astrological sign, it can change or not. This also goes with the fact that within life you sometimes change, like you may start if as a reversed Emperor then move on to being upright, or you can go from Death to Fortune. These changes are from the changes that happened within ourselves. You might be a fool, to MiwAuturu, or you could be the Lovers, even Justice or Judgement. It all depends on your psyche, for resolutions within your self make you stronger and allow you to move forward.

For example if you say, "A world without this pain" but then you find joy in reality and say "In the real world", that is a resoulution that proves that you changed, and possibly your arcana. It shows that you have grown.

You really are an idiot. Where the hell did you get this? Fucking Quizbarn?

Hey, guys, if you want to know the right way to determine your birth arcana, go to this thread.

Seriously, if a fortune teller asked you for all of this shit before determining your fortune, you might as well tell them your life story. Because giving them that information is only going to give them more information in order to make up a cold reading that actually makes sense. Calculations involve numbers. Furthermore, considering that Tarot cards actually came before the idea of transgenders being identified as a gender, I'd believe that it'd be incredibly silly to list is as one of the things that determine birth arcana.

Also, one other thing, Tarot is separate from the western zodiac and- Oh wait, you listed Uma Thurman as a celestial body. Now I know that you're just trolling.

Female and male show the feministic part and masculine part of the psyche. By the way, the Empress and Emperor, that's a female and male. You could be male and still be a Empress, simply because of your psyche, not numbers. Besides, Uma Thurman is there for a reason, troll, so go back to yours and I'll stick to mine's, which is the right way to determine your Arcana.

If you're going to just troll, shut the fuck up and get the fuck outta here. If you wanna know you're arcana, stick around.

I'm sorry, but exactly where are you finding this shit? I've read countless books on the subject, even recent prints, and not a single one would say the shit that you are spouting.

Birth arcana is not the only arcana used when doing readings. If you are using birth arcana like a zodiac, then you are doing something very wrong. There are several cards that determine ones life, according to Tarot. And there are numerous ways of arranging the cards in order to get different readings according to what the one asking wants to know.

((BTW, if anyone is wondering why "Uma Thurman" is listed as a celestial body, it's because it is a reference to "Stargate SG-1". Credibility of DMLD96's calculations = lost))

Boring, you are: The Hermit

Prudence, caution, deliberation. The Hermit is associated with wisdom, introspection, solitude, retreat and philosophical searches.

Basic Tarot Story

After a long and busy lifetime, building, creating, loving, hating, fighting, compromising, failing, succeeding, the Fool feels a profound need to retreat. In a small, rustic home deep in the woods, he hides, reading, cleaning, organizing, resting or just thinking. But every night at dusk he heads out, traveling across the bare, autumnal landscape. He carries only a staff and a lantern.

It is during these restless walks from dusk till dawn, peering at and examining whatever takes his fancy, that he sees things he's missed during his lifetime. His lantern illuminates animals and insects that only come out at night, flowers and plants that only bloom by moon or star light.

As these secret corners of the world are illuminated and explored by him, he feels that he is also illuminating hidden areas of his mind. In a way, he has become the Fool again. As in the beginning, he goes wherever inspiration leads him. Back then, however, his staff rested on his shoulder, carrying unseen his pack. The Fool was like the pack: wrapped up, unknown. The Hermit's staff leans out before him now, not behind. And it carries a lantern, not a pack. The Hermit is like the lantern, illuminated from within by all he is, capable of penetrating the darkness.

Basic Card Meaning

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

Basic Portrayal

A robed man or monk carrying a lantern, sometimes in hand, sometimes hanging off a staff. A barren landscape.

Oh, you're so silly.

Do you know the history of Tarot? They were originally just a deck of playing cards. Meanings were later attached to them. Even most people who swear by the Tarot know this.

When a fortune teller refers to "your arcana", they are referring to your "birth arcana". To claim that the birth arcana changes as life goes on is like saying "Hey. I was born black, but as you can plainly see, I am now of Puerto Rican descent as a result of the environment around me."

Basically, what you're doing is taking things that have no attachment to the Tarot and combining them with psuedo-psychology. While your interpretation of the cards is right (while still missing a few parts), how you get the cards is completely wrong and off the chart. Anyone else who knows even a mere fraction of what I know about Tarot would back me up here, and I don't know every little thing about fortune telling.

Again with the persistence. One thing here though, in Puerto Rico they have a stack of cards that are just like the wand, sword, et cetera.

Some people go to a fortune teller to see the arcana they have, but usually these people are wrong. Using Tarot cards you predict what will happen, as in getting the Moon and Tower in a reading may represent that a mysterious trial awaits you, and the Fool could represent part of the journey or the journey itself, it also depends on other cards.

I put the interpretation in a simple form. It's going to get the basics and stuff. How I get them is correct though. I did research on this using my classmates and teachers as subjects, and they all matched their personalities perfectly. In fact, there was this girl, she acts silly around her family, which shows her as the Star, but she remains quite in front of others which shows her as the Hermit, and trust me, by her test scores and stuff you could tell that she was a Hermit, plus all her other knowledge. Her true personality is silly, but she acts shy around others. That means she shows herself as the Hermit, but she is truly the Star. If you answer with honesty, you know your true arcana. If you change something, like how you act in front of others, that shows an arcana, but not necessarily your true one. Pamela, the girls name, is truly silly, but hides that. She is a Star that acts like a Hermit, but in truth, she is a Star.

Wow. You really are an idiot. Arcana cannot be determined by what you have said. There is no reader who would ever do what you did to determine arcana.

You know what you just told me? You told me this:
"Hey guys, I put together a somewhat biased test based on research and information that I hand-picked myself while not doing any actual research on the history and math of Tarot and without consulting anyone who has any experience in Tarot, whether in the form of a book that I found or in the form of talking to an actual person who knows what they are talking about. I compiled this biased data and manipulated it to my own needs as I saw fit."

Also, you do know that more than one arcana determines path in life, right? However, the only one which reflects the person is birth arcana. There are other important cards, such as the Event Arcana, which can give insight as to the turning point in one's life.

Goddamn... This is not a biased test, I did the research, I tested. Let me explain it SLOWLY for ya.

Okay, I had a question. That's step one. Step two: I did some background research. Third, I constructed a hypothesis. Then, this is step four, I ran some tests. I analysed the results and drew a conclusion. My hypothesis was partially true, so back to step three with the info. I did step four again, which is to test with an experiment. I analyzed the results and drew my conclusion,. The hypothesis was correct. And now I'm showing you the results, the final step if you were right. The results showed that my hypothesis was correct, and this test shows you what arcana you are.

And yes, I understand Tarot readings.

So by your standards;
Step One: "Does god exist?"
Step Two: Hey there's plenty of text stating god is real, all this ought to be legit.
Step Three: "God Exists."
Step Four: Okay your test methods were not posted and neither was your results. I assume it's basically tests that only proves you are correct and not tests that proves you are wrong.
Step Five: Repeat Step Four Once.
Step Six: "My test proves that God exists."
  • #25

Hey guys, don't forget the right way to determine your arcana.
  • #26

Kaxbe, on 29 May 2011 - 11:01 PM, said:

All you did was explain the scientific process.

I used to prove my question correct. "Is there a way to figure out your arcana?" I did some research, and created a hypothesis and a test. The test being if the way that I created was right, and my hypothesis being that the test was right. I did the tests, and I was partially true. So, with that info I made a new hypothesis and test. I experimented the test, and it was the test that proved my hypothesis. I drew my conclusions to this, and there you have it.

In fact, by the way you do it, you can take your whole name, which people did before. You can do this or your way, and it's still wrong. It goes like this:

D a v i d M a n u e l L i s b o a
4 1 4(v=22; 2+2=4) 9 4 4(m=13; 1+3=4) 1 5(n=14; 1+4=5) 3(u=21; 2+1=3) 5 3(l=12; 1+2=3) 3 9 1(s=19; 1+9=10; 1+0=1) 2 6(o=15; 1+5=6) 1

D i a z
4 9 1 9 (z=27; 2+7=9)

Now, let's add that up. You'll get 88. 8+8=16. 16 in Tarot since is the Devil arcana. Portrayed as a hermaphrodite devil over two naked and chained figures, the Devil Arcana represents the urge to do selfish, impulsive, violent things and be slave to ones' own impulse and feelings.

I help others and stuff. That takes out selfish. I take time to analyze and view things. From time to time I'm impulsive, we all are. I do t when it's necessary. I try to take the time to talk things out and get other's perspectives. I'm only violent when I'm pushed to the extreme, like if someone is hitting my girlfriend. In fact, the other day, someone was talking shit to me and I just kept on saying whatever and he attacked me. I just held his fists and didn't hit him. I continued the conversation to my friend without paying that due any attention. So, that takes out violence. I control my feelings, and seldom they control me. I keep logic and keep calm instead of bursting out with all of my feelings. So, how am I the Devil arcana, hm?

Time to process. I'm starting with your sis, Kax.
  • #27

So let me get this right.
You have failed to test if your hypothesis is wrong.
You have failed to explore other ways that already prove your hypothesis.
You seem to perform arbitrary tests on subject which you failed to describe as people you know or do not know.
Your whole basis of this is to convert letters into numbers and add them together.
Letters of Names which are GIVEN to us and changeable at any moments notice?

Also did you just give us your full name?
  • #28

First off, you are still wrong. Your way of doing the scientific process is broken and biased.

Second, you are missing on a huge part of what the Devil Arcana is because you are only looking at the physical attributes of the card. If you knew anything at all about The Devil, you'd know that The Devil can represent confidence, ego, being headstrong and the ability to take advantage of your surroundings. You are missing out on A LOT.

Third, you are very, very wrong about how you can't be of The Devil arcana. As I have said before, you are only going with the physical attributes of the card along with previous stigmas attached to the names of each card. The way I see it, your previous posts do nothing but prove that you ARE of The Devil arcana. (even though how you found it IS wrong). When you find birth arcana the proper way, you do not use your name. You use your date of birth.

P.S. My sister and cousin can't wait to see what you have to say about their arcana.

Your sister is: The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education. Portrayed as an old woman with a closed book, the Priestess Arcana is a symbol of hidden knowledge or other untapped power, wisdom, female mystery and magic when it appears in tarot readings.

Basic Meaning

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

Basic Portrayal

Blue, white and black colors, pomegranates, the moon crown of Isis, veil, solar cross, crescent moon. Black & white lotus, pillars (B stands for Boaz, signifying negation, J stands for Jachin, meaning beginning). Scroll with the word Tora on it (either the Jewish Torah or an anagram of "Tarot," where the final letter is left unseen).

Basic Story

Basic Tarot Story

Continuing his journey, the Fool comes upon a beautiful and mysterious veiled lady enthroned between two pillars and illuminated by the moon. She is the opposite of the Magician, quiet where he was loquacious, still where he was in motion, sitting while he stood, shrouded in the night where he was out in the bright of day. Sensing that she is a great seer, the Fool lays out his sword, chalice, staff and pentacle before her.
"The Magician showed me these, but now I'm in a quandary. There are so many things I could do with them. I can't decide." The High Priestess doesn't speak. Instead she hands him a pair of ancient scrolls. Seating himself at her feet, the Fool puts his decision-making on hold and reads by the light of her crescent moon.
"I did not know any of this," says the Fool. The scrolls, like a secret manual, have given him insight into his new tools. "This information helps me to narrow things down, but I'm still afraid of making a wrong decision." The words come to him then, not from without but from within:
"What do your instincts tell you?" The Fool reflects on that, and that's when he knows what he should do. Decision made, he rises to leave even though he suspects that the High Priestess has more secrets she could reveal to him--like what lies behind the pomegranate curtain. Right now, however, he is focused and ready to be on his way. Thanking the High Priestess, he heads off. But as he leaves he hears that inner voice, rising like the waters which spring and flow from beneath her throne.
"We'll meet again... when you're ready to travel the most secret path of all."

One thing I wanna ask... Does your sister seem more... supporting? Like, helping others and stuff, or being a supporting character in drama? Does she seem like a person to heal people and try to support them?

Now, time for your cousin.

Wow. WOW. You are WRONG. Not only based on the TRUE calculations, but also what you say about her based on your calculations.

Right now, she is laughing at what you say about her.

For evaluative purposes, I'm afraid I'm going to need your social security number for the twelfth question.

My cousin has the same arcana as her. Here's her answers:
1) female
2) blue
3) Sagittarius
4) Saturn
5) Science/Medical
6) A natural leader
7) Beauty
8) In the real world
9) Truth
10) Reading or Writing Learning new things Drinking or Smoking
11) Atheist

I could tell that she is the High Priestess right away. Her psyche, according to this, leads into a more... way of intelligence, but she might not be as supportive as your sister. She still is, and I ask you the same questions I asked about your sis.

You are still wrong. About everything.

My sister, born Nov. 26, 1995. My cousin, born Dec. 5, 1988.

Both of which belong to The Tower.

What you said about their personalities are completely wrong as well. My sister is more resistant and is not supportive of other people at all. She's incredibly self-absorbed and also does nothing to help others unless it helps herself. Even she admits this.
My cousin, on the other hand is incredibly supportive of others, to the extent that she sometimes doesn't take good care of herself.

I'm sorry, but you're still full of shit.

First, does she exist, or is she real? How old is she? What's her test scores? Did she answer honestly? Or are you just making up shit?

I did this test with a hundred students. The first time, 74 of them said I got their arcana. When I remade the test, 100 out of 100 of the students confirmed that I had got their arcana. I'm going to run the test again, but with 200 people and see what is the results.

How does she show herself to you. Pretend you don't know her, and you are guessing on her personality and stuff.

Also, I'm not stupid. You can easily be faking her, or not putting in the right results. Or she could not be honest. We need a more non-biased person.

Oh cool. My friend said he liked the quiz and said he was going to but this up on a site somewhere. So he put it here, huh? Take the test there, then.

Hey guys, in order to prove that I'm not a crackpot, all of you try DMLD's (Dumbass Moron Limp Dick) test and then compare to the results in my thread. Have fun! REMEMBER. THIS IS FOR (fake) SCIENCE.

Probably, he might have fixed some. That was the test that was correct, but I didn't really cared for the grammar. I gave him the quiz and he said he liked it. When he moved I gave him a copy of the quiz, but that was a while back. About two months ago I wanted to run the test on a few more people, so I gave it to my big sis (not blood-related), my English teacher, my swim teach, a good friend, my crush, a few other boys, and a few other girls. I still have some results of them, if you wanna see. But I looked at the grammar and thought it was atrocious, and changed it.

CyberWarlock was his screen name. He liked computers and he liked playing RPGs with warlocks and stuff. But he didn't give me credit? Let me check something.

Continue saving face, DMLD. You're leaving a clear target for your ass.

I just looked up CyberWarlock. The one on My Space isn't him.

There comes a point where you're the only one who believes you.

Oh god, are you even 14? Are you sure you're not in elementary school?

Also, you "did research". I'd like to see your sources, please.

Yes, I'm 14. I'm trying to look on the web for "CyberWarlock" but I'm not finding Byron... Hmm... Let's see. I hope he has a Face Book or something. He left Milwaukee in 2004, and he's one year older than me. That means he is born in 1995. What other info...? I don't remember his exact birth day, but he was born sometime in May.

You "did research". Where are your damn sources. You are getting off topic, trying to find your "friend".
  • #47

Shit guys, I did my research.
