well this is going much better than i imagined. we finally have a handful of voice actors to work with, and should nothing bad happen to prolong my ride home, i can give melee my audition for Mike.

amazil i seriously think you need to change the title of this thread because it is confusing for the people reading this.

The whole "I need a good mic" is a problem for me, so I'm prolly not going to do it... Sorry...

alright last time i did all the voices and it was pretty hard but now that we have auditions here's the voices i enjoyed doing.

A different style of voices used to previous attempts, more cartoony. I also like the voices of Tess and David, they were averagely good. The other voices are mixed.

When they are recording, some things which sound a bit off-
-Be careful of fake shouting, it can sound really bad if they mess it up, when voices are being raised it often sounds more like a loud whisper than a shout and is really easy to notice.
-Some of them seem to be mumbling a little bit, make sure to speak just a bit clearer.
-The background noise is very obvious, like that pounding sound in Augustus's...what is that man doing?!

Also, you didn't post Abbey's, or McCain's voice, you just put Augustus's there twice. Which chapter are you planning on doing by the way?

i'm going from the begining. chapter one. once i complete chapter one i will update it on youtube with me voicing the characters, or if i have some voices from you guys that i like i'll use those. basically i just said i didn't listen to amazil's auditions yet. i'll get back to you on that after i've played around with the pitches of his voice.

so far i have no chosen people to voice act, bontoro i considered but he hasn't convinced me to even let him voice act anyone at the moment. he's still trying. and thats okay since i have noone so far.

@Meleeman- If you mean what I think you mean, don't even bother pitching up his voice to sound feminine. It will always sound bad. I mean it.

YAY I GOT THE LEADING ROLE! i love Mike because he's actually how i talk...for some reason my pitch gets higher when i talk to friends or people i'm casual with, it's very weird.

mike. still pretty sure amazil will have that voice, to be honest i don't think i make the best mike.

Hey guys i'd like to give an update on progress. so far i have 1 frame done of scene one. to be honest i think the vector version of the comic looks beatiful. i'm using a different program this time, called Pencil. Pencil is a free animation software thats easy to use, and it's frame by frame animation with a motion tween camera layer which is excellent for me. anyways i was wondering if anyone would like to help me animate individual scenes of the comic which one of us could string together into a movie, i have windows movie maker but if you have somthing better say Camtasia, i would send my scenes to you. if i have no help well it's going to be awhile before simple pleasures is done.

well folks, i know you haven't heard about this project for a long time, but that's with good reason! it has come to my attention that our beloved animator Meleeman has become overwhelmed by life and it's challenges. this means that we will unfortunately not have any animations in the new bittersweet candy bowl movie. also, this means that I will have to take over, and make the videos in the old-fashioned slideshow way. still though, i've decided to take initiative and continue with some of the promises. which was mainly getting a cast together.

WHICH I AM PROUD TO SAY, I'VE DONE A PRETTY GOOD JOB IN DOING!

THE FOLLOWING CAST IS AS SHOWS!

Tabris - lucy
Bip-Bap-Bam - Augustus
BonBonToro - Yashy, chirpy, and Blur
LT_amazil - Mike, Paulo, David, McCain, Abbey, and lily

i also wanted Bridgeotto to be on the team to act the part of Sue, but she seems to be caught up in...whatever it is she's doing (i don't want to intrude into her personal life). she said that she'd be busy for weeks, but we are currently at a very slow rate so i'm keeping her on pending. also i wanted Mippa, the girl that did Daisy in Darkspeeds' bittersweet candy bowl adaptation, but i found out she's a professional voice actor...meaning i must pay for her...and i don't have the cash , besides there's half a million other things i'd rather use the money for.

the following people have already sent in some of their lines which i've already turned into video form (i'll upload it soon): TABRIS, AND BIP-BAP-BAM. i'm quite pleased with their voices, but i'd also like you people to see for yourself. plus it would be good to let them get some advice.

STILL, THE OTHER VOICES ARE STILL UP FOR GRABS SO IF YOU WANT EM' YOU CAN HAVE EM' IF YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH.

WE'RE NOT DEAD YET PEOPLE...not yet.

it's amazing that in a majority male forum one guy is doing so many voices!

It Amazil, I remember your last try to make all the voices... and I don't think you can. You could do a nice work with some male voices, but simply I don't think you are good enough to make so many different characters, and make them... realistic. You should give away some VO.

I don't remeber if I auditioned for this or not. I will look back and see what is still open and see if there is anything I can audition for. My voice is probably to deep for this age group of charactures, but I can give it a try anyways.

You're an idiot. This project will fail either in the development stage or via the criticism it will receive upon release for being shitty.

It's not really a good idea to have someone make all the voices in a group that always shows up together, unless the person is REALLY good, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think criticism is ok, when there is a product to criticize. i think being down on someone before the thing is made is just rude; everyone has a right to express themselves how they like, whether it's shitty or awesome in the end, and if It and others want to express their love for BCB by making a movie adaptation (as long as they don't expect backing from the creator, or claim to have any without having any) they may do as they like.

also, this may be wrong, but, Susan, is your avi from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney?

Well, the thing is: he did an earlier project before in which he did all the voices.
It wasn't well accepted.
But that doesn't mean that he can't do multiple voices; If he is able to make them sound different and "normal", then he should definitely try it.
However, doing that amount of voices is not recommendable, unless you are A REAL PRO. Otherwise, they'll just sound the same and it'll be boring.
And I was referring to BonBonToro too; his voice parts almost always appear together in the comic.
Of course, if he is able to make them sound good, as I said before, then go ahead and do it. But the best idea is still to try and have one character per voice.

Don't bother trying to convince him otherwise, it doesn't work. Audition if you like, but you'll be relegated to some background character so that our erstwhile director can have the spotlight.

I'm thinking about auditioning for Daisy or Sue.

Hey guys, I did a little testing with my voice...let me know if you think it sounds good! I'd like to voice Daisy if it works. This is just a test run so that's why I say "uhhh" a lot.
