At the time we didnt have a sharpshooter, one afternoon we were on the range the instructor was taking poking fun at me due to my face mask (a Skully) until he said fire. 3 targets 3 bulls-eyes BIP BAP BAM later i became squad marksmen and the name just stuck i guess

I liked wolfs before I saw Twilight and comics with cats in them.

I really got the name apoc, because in when I got l4d I changed my name to the fidner of apoclayps, and people just shortend it to apoc.

i started using this name, Tabris, on an anime forum and it didn't get laughed at or anything, and he's one of my fave anime characters, still, so i just kept using it. it also seems to be available more often than not

i wish i could say it has a meaning or it represents my beliefs but i just thought it sounded cool
also i use kor for alot so i just added the rest

Hm, I have two names I go by now...

Uh, Soluna was just the name I gave to one of my old old old OCs except it was Lunasol, so I just switched it around and joined a forum. It sounded better.

For Toffee, I saw a picture of chocolate and then thought 'man I haven't had any toffee in a long time'. Then I conveniently happened to join the forums while I was thinking about that.
...I still haven't had any toffee since that time.

The first time I used '?' as a username was when I commented on one of the (BCB) comic pages. I used it because I thought "Hmmm... I guess I'll use my regular online alias. Wait, me! If I do that, then anyone on here can just search for my regular alias online and find all sorts of stuff about me out!! That was a horrible idea!!! But then what should I use for my name...?" Since I honestly didn't know what to use, I used a '?' to represent my 'IDK' status. Afterwards, I learned how to join the forums (my first visit I had thought that you had to be a BCI member to join; silly me). Then I learned that a username had to be at least three charaacters long. Woe was me. But due to my laziness and afore mentioned paranoia, I just stuck with '?' (only I used thrice the amount of question marks).

It's my first name and part of my surname.
Really I just used to use it for my email accounts but then I decided my other nick was stupidly retarded and now I only use it on IRC because it's shorter and easier to recognize I guess.
This one is the one I use practically everywhere.

Because I am lazy I never posted in this thread. Because I am lazy I am also not going to go into the old forum archives to dig up whatever I posted in the other username thread. So here we go:
I used to have a DeviantArt account. One day I looked at it and realized everything I made was shitty and I acted like a moron, so I decided to make a new account. I couldn't come up with a good name though, so I didn't create the account. For Christmas of that year (2009 I believe) I got my Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet. It came with Corel Painter Essentials 4, which was very exciting because I could then produce digital art and stuff. So anyways, after about 4 weeks of scribbling, I watched the tutorial videos on the webpage about how to use layers and the different brushes etc. That night, we were making s'mores, and I came up with an idea. I rushed to the computer, and, using my new knowledge of basic program functions I should have already known, I created this:

I was under the impression that this was GOOD SHIT so I made somewhere around five thousand terrible marshmallow related comics and pictures within the next few months. Then I decided that because of these abominations I would name my account Marshmallow Madness. Basically the account filled with shit but I'm done with DA so whatever. So in late May/ early June of last year when I stopped lurking the old forums and decided to post, I had to come up with A NAME. By this time I had realized that Marshmallow Madness was long and shitty but I'm not very creative when it comes to nicknames so I just typed "Mallow." Since then I've used Mallow and various versions of it for pretty much everything on the internet that I use.

I coppied my name from my YouTube channel >_<.

But its a lot better that my Xbox name, which nobody had ever pronounced correctly.

I'm trying to outgrow mine. On a related note the person over whom I felt guilty enough to pick the name is in jail for the next three months awaiting trial. I don't know the specifics, but I know enough about the charges to leave a little hint:

mine doesnt have a uber creative story like some peoples, but its my Pesterchum(which is kind of like AIM) handle, and since i like cats, it fits. im just a typical feline...or a some have put it, typical furry, typical faggot, etc.

This is partly a hand-me-down from an older sibling. He had his shared download folder named "SoulSeek MooSack" to which I likened it as my handle.

If it were wise to use it for all of my handles, I most certainly probably would.

Back in 2008 I joined the Youtube community to create Sonic The Hedgehog AMV's, Shadow was my favorite at the time, and I wanted to sound dark and edgy.

Shadow was taken, as was Shadow1 so I combined it with my favorite Pokemon Mew to create Shadowmew1. However, being young at the time I created a typo and Shadownew1 became my Youtube handle by mistake.

During the short lived days of the Youtube Streams I met many friends that I still have today, back then they called me Shadow since we all decided that Shadownew1 was extremely dumb. One day while chatting with a friend she basically just outright said, "fuck it, can I call you Shada?" And the name stuck ever since then.

Well 4 months ago I joined candybooru under the name Link4565. A month later I joined the forums under the same name. However about 3 weeks in, my computer crashed. All my passwords were lost from the computers memory, meaning that unless I remembered them. I forgot the forum password, so since I still wanted to be on the forums I thought of a new name. I thought of how whenever I am hanging out with friends I suprise them by coming out of nowhere at them. One friend started calling me deathfromabove, soon all my friends did. So I used that

I was a huge Death Note fan back in 2010, and the name just kinda stuck with me.

The Zoe part was from a roleplaying game I started playing on this forum. Since I barely did anything in this community but roleplay, soon most people started knowing me as Zoe. I decided to stick with it, but decided to add Stellan at the end because:

a) Zoe is a girl's name, so Stellan kinda counteracts it.
b) Together, it means "Calm life" or something like that.
c) Thought they had a nice ring together.

Now people barely remember my original username. =P

On League of Legends though, I am known as LuminoRay. That would probably be my only alter ego, and created it to play with some of my noob low level friends. I ended up maxing it too and liking it more than my ZoeStellan account, so that's the one I play as my main now. As to where the name came from... I was aiming for a "Random-internet-guy" and "I'm gonna save you all" kind of thing, and thought LuminoRay did the trick.

Regularpatron was actually quite a simple username to create When you frequent places to buy something a title for that kind of person is called a patron, and I always wanted to be a regular of a forum From those two the name Regularpatron was born!

Well for a bit in highschool me and some friends wanted to run around as Final Fantasy characters, at first it was just me and three others, myself being at Level 50 and the others being about five levels below me. Soon we got nearly half the school in on it(Note my school was only about 400 students total) and they all had character classes and levels. Even then I was the only Fighter and I was the highest level out of everyone, which was cool. So I just sort of stuck with being Fighther, and just kept Lvl 50 on there too.

Also Lvl 50 was around the level in Final Fantasy 1 when I got the rat tail and changed to Warrior.

Edit: P.S I have played FF 1 like ten times and it remains the same. Level 50 and I get that upgrade.

Right, well... Originally my name was "ereshkiggal," which was a misspelling of "ereshkigal," which was a spell from Fire Emblem that sounded really awesome at the time.

Then I changed it to "Lux Aeterna." It was in a support conversation in FE8 with Lute and Artur, and it sounded pretty cool, but it was also a reference to my favorite FE character of all time. So that stuck.

A variation of my name is "Lucky Lux," which I use on FP.com, League (close enough, anyway), and FF.net, for three reasons: "Lux Aeterna" was taken, "Lucky Lux" is alliteration, and I think myself very lucky in many pursuits--hell, a symbol of my own relationship (not quite arbitrarily decided) is the four-leaf clover.

I was called "Mercury" for a short time back in late 2009 when I was busy bringing messages back and forth between people and brought two (internet) couples together by gentle nudging.

But the first time I went to an online community was Runescape. And, well, I joined when I was 10, so I wanted to be "witty" (stupid and unfunny). So I named myself "bananabut2.0" (without a second t because of the 12 character limit). Oh well. It was 7 years ago, but I still shake my head at it.

Well Aris is my middel name and i has been my username for about all of my life, and the 5467 comes from my PSN (which for some reason is Akira5467) i needed numbers and it was 2am so 5467 came to mind.

I've been using this old thing since I was ten. I got the idea for it from the Disney Atlantis movie. those cool guardians that come up out of the water and clap and make a glowing orb of protection around the city? yah... but I misspelled it. Hey, I was ten. However when on different sites I attempted to spell it correctly I found it already taken so I decided to Screw it I'll spell it this way always so that it will always be available. Its the internet if anyone gives a crap they can sit in it and I won't care. And so it was. I still have people who try to make fun of "oh lol brah ur usrname is splled wrong!" *cough* susan *cough* and really, whatever. I know I have it this way so that I can use it everywhere. end of story.

Mine's easy. I was chatting with someone who needed some advice, and I didn't have much to give. So I mostly just offered hilariously over-the-top prank ideas to relieve stress. She was of Native American heritage and likened me to Coyote. It's too flattering a comparison to give up.

About my username: If you haven't figured it out on your own, then let me adjust it a little... Super Tails. The super version of Tails from the Sonic games... I could never make Tails transform in Sonic 2, but I read an issue of a Sonic The Hedgehog comic(Archie version) and I saw Tails wearing a cape and just acting like a boss... I read that issue on the same week I picked my username for my email so it was an easy choice. I was 19 when I received my laptop as a birthday present(even though I paid for it ) and it was only a matter of weeks before I stumbled onto my favorite comic(Bittersweet Candy Bowl ).

@Blaze: *whispers* Don't worry I was kidding earlier. I don't actually judge people by their names and a lot of people I know like experimenting with fire so you don't think I was looking down on you or something .
