User name Origin Tales: Part Dos Cause I know you missed it.
People kept mispronouncing Carpaccio, so I jokingly called myself Cappuccino. It stuck.

Could you give us a phonetic transcription of Carpaccio? I might know it; then again, I have no idea what any other pronunciations might be. ^_^

Well, simply because when most of us see a capital letter, we think that its a letter to be stressed or to be pronounced separately because its upper case when not used in a common name or at the beginning of a sentence. The absence of the entire word doesn't help that either. you can also attribute this mistake to the all-around awkwardness of your name pronounced correctly.

A while after, I dumped the whole Sailor Moon baggage and she just turned out to be one of my main characters that I draw. Since she basically was my first creation, I use Aika as an alias for a lot of things. I also use PyroAika on several occasions due to my love of fire.

Sometime in the old RC I scored the 2000th post. Looking back, that wasn't much (It eventually overloaded to more than 10,000) but at the time I thought it was neat. So I graduated to "Doctor" status. I was looking for an excuse to do that anyway, so it fit right in. Besides, I think it looks better than just plain ol' "Mister."
But you don't care anyway.

Used the username "batcat8402" for a long time, but got bored with it. One day, filling out the form for the Evga Forums, I decided on Carcharocles58--simply because I collect fossil shark teeth, and the number 58 has been tattooed on my brain from living in the KC area for my whole life. It was also the only thing I could think of that wasn't taken by someone. Eventually it got dulled down to just Carcharocles.

In my begginings on the net (many years ago!) my first nickname was "Pyro". But soon I realized that there were THOUSANDS of Pyros on the net. So I decided to change my nick.
Volgrand was a character I made for a RPG. That's all.
And, until the moment, I haven't found another people that uses my nick

I decided to name the character Tae-shi, after "Ta-She", which is the name of an egyptian cat in a book I was reading at the time. Unfortunately, EZBoard didn't like the name Tae-shi because of the "-" so I shortened it to Taeshi.
I used to go as TaeshiLH on EZboard, the LH standing for "Lil Hedgie"
That's why my DA name is still taeshilh
(yes when i was little I used to RP)

Where did I come up with KAS Bat?
When me and my friends were younger we used to use our schools computers to play Age of Empires against one another. My first name is almost impossible for anyone to correctly pronounce the first time so I always used a shortened version of my name to create the player name Lord Kem (my friends actually came up with the lord part as I always manged to beat them or at least end the game in a stalemate). Eventually I started using it on line as well but after a while I dropped the lord part as it sounded to high and mighty and just went by Kem for a while. However a couple of sites already had Kem taken so I then took to replacing the E with any random letter from my middle name and the M with any random letter from my last name. I went through a bunch of different variations before eventually settling on KAS. And as for the Bat part, I threw that in when I joined here because KAS seemed to small and I always use bats as my avatars.

Ummmmmmm, started when I moved to *censored*, they had a nice library and my family was poor, so we often went their.
One day I saw a kid playing Runescape on one of the computers, and from their we start th long journey towards my current name.
At first it was Fishhappines, with only one s because of a name limit... for perhaps five years I used that name for everything, until the day I got an Xbox 360.
Obviously by this point i'd realized fishhappines was exceedingly stupid, and i'd gotten plenty of gay fish jokes by that time, but I didn't know what else to make it... unfortunately my little sister made that choice when I wasn't paying attention and I become Burningfin, which really on Xbox LIVE didn't improve anything in the slightest, but it stuck.
Eventually, about four years ago, my account got temporarily banned because I tried to use a gift card to pay for LIVE, but it didn't have enough money on it... so that is how that name died.
Now, over on addictinggames.com I had had an account still under the fishhappines username[it was really old], found a game called Stormthehouse, and I spent several hours playing it, found the second game and spent a few more hours their, which officially categorized it as one of my favorite computer games, Runescape having falling out of favor since a buncha changes screwed up some of the best parts of the game.
Having Stormthehouse be my GAME OF THE MOMENT, and the fact that I literally tried twenty or so different names on Xbox LIVE and they all had already been taken, Stormthehouse had not, so it became, once and for all, my diffinitive end name for all things.
I have no accounts by fishhappines or burningfin that I remember the passwords for.
I hope you have enjoyed this look into the history of my username (=

It's a name that I gave to a fictional character I draw, which originated from my grandfather's pen name when he wrote books. However I only kept that name for the character and I never used it for a username until I figured that it would be a great aliases as my personality is quite similar to my character Vaughn.

When I started an Internet presence, I decided to keep "DieWeiBRitter" as my universally accepted Internet name. So far, others on the net have shortened it to "Ritter," "Knight," "DieWei," DieWeiB," "White Knight," "Die," and just plain "B." To me, all are acceptable.
