Okay Amazil, I think it's time I made a request:
I want you to draw a single character, no group shots or any bullshit like that, okay?
Now spend more than 1 hour drawing it (since your previous pictures obviously took a few minutes) and put your best effort into it using all the advice given to you, I don't care if it's realistic or cartoony, make all the lines smooth and nice to look at, everything symmetrical, proper proportions, all that crap.
Make this your Mona Lisa, Amazil, sure people may look at you in a funny way but this picture should at least make them go "okay,that's good for your skills."
What do you say?

Please draw your favourite character from any series (you don't have to mimick their art style completely, but please try to make him/her recognizable).
Draw him/her in three different non-neutral poses (fighting stance, shy stance, etc. so long as it conveys the character's emotional state.)

alright folks i come to you with not one BUT TWO pictures! one being a request and the other being a doodle i did. it was supposed to be Sushi Vs. The World (from mav's quote) but i couldn't think of anyone who would be kim, stills, or ramona. still this is pretty accurate too.

One huge problem I have with your drawings is that I can't tell a male from a female unless they have boobs. Add eyelashes or something at least if you can't make them look feminine in some way.
Another one is everyone's head looks like an ass. Don't do the indents.

if i say yes i will never live up to your expectations and i'm so used to my usual style it'll never work. but if i say no then it'll look like i'm a coward/lazy ass who won't do it because...well i'm sure you'll think of a reason you guys always do. 
so i'll have to put your request on hold. i don't think i can do this...not forced. anything that is done because you are told to do it ruins the roots of the art. the reason my art is supposed to be a happy playful drawing. it is this way because when i do it i am happy and joking. now if i were to do it how you want it you'll have to wait 'till i'm bored out of my fucking mind, because that is the only time i ever do anything i find remotely perfect. so i will try.

Your art isn't happy or playful, it's just messy and rushed. And being told to draw something doesn't "ruin the root of the art"; you should embrace it rather than flee from it, as it is a chance to try your hand at something new. Then again, you are the least inclined of people I have met to try and do anything out of your comfort zone, which is why you're as terminally useless as you are. I don't know when you're gonna realise that people only say that you're lazy or cowardly or whatever because that's how you appear. I don't know whether you actually are as fucking terrible and stubborn as I think you are, but that's the impression that people are getting. I don't know why I'm even bothering writing this, because you're just gonna either have a tantrum over it or ignore it, but I feel that it has to be said.

Amazil, I really have no expectations. I don't care if it turns out crap, I just want you to actually put forward a bit of effort. Even if you screw up, you can gain insight from our criticism and figure out how to get better.
All I'm trying to do is break your habit of "put in zero effort and ignore everyone."
PS: your current form isn't a "style." It's a bunch of scribbles. This could help you develop a real style.
Edit: Look at my art. It's not perfect. It's not AAA grade. But it's the fruit of me pushing myself over the years and taking the advice of others. I have pictures lying around the house from less than ten years ago that look like utter crap compared to these. Take my word for it: do my commission. It will help you greatly.

I am curious about this as well, you have said that one of your main weaknesses is small details, can't exactly blame you for not wanting to show work you don't think is worthy of being shown, but still... am interested

Personally, I kinda like Amazils art "style".
If he worked on it a bit more, and put some more time into it, it would look great.
I like the cartoony feel of it, but right now every single person looks similar.
Overall, this is a good start.

well unfortunately i didn't get to do that request. i'm pretty stumped at having to change the head (because the head is what i use as the base on how wide they should be). i'll work on it but in the meantime i managed to do a few doodles and one request.

these were just for kicks it's not like i was trying to do anything WONDERFUL. also i have one more drawing that i'll scan shortly. it's from what someone said on the IRC "taeshi's occasional story time" (that was only part of what was said).

The request looks pretty good so far! You indeed know how to draw body language/positions to reflect a triumphant character. Its interesting what you did with the eyelids, particularly on his right eye. It almost looks like its twitching, almost like he just won a hard-fought war!

yeah i realize the fact i didn't fully fill in his eyes actually worked well. unfortunately my brother went and deleted my sound files so now i have to go and redo all of it.
and i'm having a hard time with the other request mainly because i have no idea where to have the base point. but i think i have a good idea on how to fix that. how do you guys feel about jaw lines?
