The entire thing between him and Daisy isn't even cleared off yet, so he kind of needs to stay regardless of what others think. P: After all, it is because of him we saw another slightly negative trait from Daisy.
Summary; I'm fine with more.

I kind of hate the concept of villains in high school comics who are just.. completely villainous. It's generally unrealistic. Teenagers can be terrible sometimes, but they're not mustache-twirling complete monsters. Most of the time, I hope.

I believe Augustus is OK as it is, meaning that, more or less, most of the characters that were originally introduced as "supporting" and later, either remained as "supporting" or got promoted to "main", and those who were promoted to "main" got, progressively, either dramatic or cheesey or fun-factor. See paulo, that was the "good-hearted mean friend" and now he's the kind of guy who'll read "Twilight" just because his GF asked. Abbey was the "knight-in-shining-armour" of sorts, and now he's like this overly romantic guy... of sorts, that dates Daisy.
David has always been the funny guy of the group, but then we got the chapters about "flower girl" then he tries to hit on Rachel, then (maybe) Katie is seen eyeing him.
The only ones that are, more or less, just as they were when originally introduced, are the supporting characters: Mc Cain, Sue, Amaya, Rachel, Katie, Jess, etc.
So the comic somehow needed a "Dark" character, not "evil-dark" (that's Alejandro) but just "dark". So we have Augustus filling that spot. and he fills those shoes nicely.
I hope he keeps up that "mystery & though-guy" ways of him for at least after "Alejandro's vengeance".

No, its fans just wish they could kill characters off. I'm surprised that nobody has picked that option so far, actually. But if that option weren't there we'd never know nobody would pick it.

Ah, well... if I can make it through the late updates then I can make it through SushiJaguar's shenanigans.
^That situation has been resolved, soooo... nevermind those last few lines.^

Wait, when has Alejandro been showing up? The last time we saw him (other than the guest comic bonanza) was at the start of Chapter 41, I think.

This is a story about teenagers growing up. Having them stay the same would be a very bad idea.

I don't really know my stance on him. I guess if anything, Augustus is the character that I would be okay with having a negative ending. But then again, that depends on the current and future circumstances.

I can only guess but I think Augustus has too drama in his story to leave him suffering even more in the end.
That would be so depressing.

"Rape Cat" is Alejandro, and while he hasn't successfully raped anyone, he sure as hell tried in Confrontation.

Besides, "rape" is about violence and control, not sex. Which pretty much fits into line with what Alejandro tried to do to Lucy in confrontation.

However, I actually like how he has developed so far. He's my third fav guy behind Mike and Paulo. I think his bluntness could be a much needed wakeup call for Lucy. I'd like to see him fleshed out a bit more, but I suppose the same could be said for Abbey or Jazz. All in good time.

I don't have a problem with people resurrecting old threads so long as the post doing so made was a well thought out intriguing essay which provokes thought and reason to continue the thread.
But as that never happened you're getting a warning for resurrecting a dead thread with a really bland comment. Grats.
