I've been wondering this.

I mean, with so many nutjobs that are running for president, which nutjob do you support the most?

Michele Bachmann is a nutjob.

I personally, if I could, I would pretty much vote for a liberal. I agree with most of their ideals.

This may not be my place to say it because it isn't my country, but oh well.

I think you should "give a shit" about elections, especially presidential. There are places in the world where the people would die to be able to do that. What I really hate is when people like you bitch about how so-and-so didn't win. In my opinion, if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.

I'm just sayin'.

Voting for Obama. Why?

Because I don't want another conservative fucktard running the country.

Why do you people never have any smart women running for president?

Hillary Clinton was alright in my opinion, but it just went downhill from there.
  • #15

Not particularly, just pointing out a trend.

Wait. Metallica is running? They got my vote.

There was this old guy I sorta liked...but I think he dropped out. He was fairly popular, too.

As long as the president is in favour of NAFTA and relations with the rest of North America, I could care less about his domestic proposals.

Straight ticket Democrat, because the GOP doesn't bother to hide its raving lunacy.

Donald Trump, the first American president with a combover.

And what a combover it is. ^_^

I like Obama he doesn't seems pretty cool and just tells it like it is rather then dance around the subject. He is willing to make cross party deals which I feel is a plus and he hasn't done anything bad so far. None of the republican candidates have impressed me so not voting for them. I'll have to do more research before I right them off completely, but obviously I'm leaning Obama right now though.

I've lost all faith in the two major parties. My vote for minor parties is just a reflection of that frustration.

So, you could say, I don't "give a shit."

"I am against racism, to show this I voted for Obama in the last election because he is black". I don't know if I should feel bad that I honestly believe a lot of people would have thought this.
  • #29

I think Obama is a decent president. I mean, at least he doesn't come off as an arrogant douche.

But then again, I shouldn't have to care. It's just that the retarded nation we're talking about has pretty much declared itself World Police. It's apparently not like there are any other presidential elections in the world, either.
  • #30

It doesn't make much of a difference who you vote for in your country; there's always gonna be a group of people who are against the current president.

Obama is just honestly the best candidate to elect at this moment. I would be very frightened and very relieved I live in Australia if a Republican wins.
  • #32

I registered as a Republican because Florida has closed primaries and yet no Democratic party primaries since it lacks a real Democrat caucus or whatever. My mind is drawing a blank for the correct term at the moment. Anyways, I do this so I can vote in the Florida primaries. This way I can at least vote for the Republican candidate who I agree with on more issues.

BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. THE IDIOTS WILL IDIOT FOR THE IDIOT.

Sarah Palin. For prez.

The fact that the GOP is seriously considering this thing as a potential presidential candidate should scare you shitless.
  • #35

I don't know much about politics in the US and this Michele Bachmann sounds way too coservative, but i can agree with some of the points she makes.
  • #36

Ok after reading about Bachmann she is insane and I would never vote for that

Read my link, then reevaluate your position. This is a very bad time to be over eighteen, American and stupid.
  • #38

Jerk I agree with some of the basic priciples she has (for instance, no to abortion) but not the extremist way she has (I believe abortion is ok in certain special circumstances), that's what I meant in my previous comment.

Man, I would never use the word "agree" and "Michelle Bachmann" in any kind of sentence besides the one I am typing now.

If you have less than a 200K income, have any issues at all with religion being used to write laws, and/or hope for a medicaid/medicare/food stamps/social security assistance if life fucks you over, then the GOP doesn't give a rat's ass about you.

As for your comment on abortion... that's not your call. The Supreme Court has already ruled that it violates the constitution to ban it. That means you are supporting an illegal position--you're better off moving to an ultraconservative country if this is an important issue for you, because it WILL NOT happen.

If your stance on abortion is what causes you to vote for Bachmann, you seriously have to re-evaluate your priorities.

Why are we still debating this crap? I think there was a thread for this.

I really don't understand the point of debating this issue, yet the conservative mind still believes it's the 70s.

I never said I was going to vote for Bachmann, mostly because a) I'm not old enough to vote, b) I don't live in the US and also c) she's too conservative. I was just saying I can relate to some of her stances, although more liberal.
  • #44

I assure you, if you believe anything even remotely sane you'd know you cannot relate to her in any way. Just because she wears human skin doesn't make her a person.

No, that's what makes humanity so frightening: she is a person. Strange that she hasn't inspired a mass movement of people to start identifying as transspecies. I hear it's nice being a dolphin.
