Who Wants Power

What kind of power would you want, and how would you use it?








...................Maybe I shouldn't ask the opinions of people about this on a forum created because of a comic about teenagers going through drama. But the more i think about it, maybe i should, because some of the characters, especially Paulo, use some of the techniques described in the books.

My powers would be
Mangekyo sharingan,summoning, weapons specialist, power to control water fire wind and ice, to make everyone be my friend, jujitsu master, and taijutsu specialist
I would use them to help people and for my own personal gain

My power would be to have people not be pissed at me when I give my 2 cents on what they should do or when I tell them a observation about them. A example of this was when I said to one of my MK9 buddies he spams when he's about to lose he replies saying "Fuck you". I'm not insulting you I'm just saying.

I know, right? Some people are just too sensitive. For example, a coworker of mine arrives at work and I inform him, politely but in no uncertain terms, that he smells as though someone has replaced his shower water with "the semen of lonely hobos." He walks off in a huff, I apologize: "I am sorry. I'm sure they felt much less lonely after what you did to them to smell like that."

If we're talking about the generic kind of corporate business power that allows blackmailing and scandalous events to slip through the events, then no, I don't care for it.

If we're talking about some kind of superpower, then telekinesis would be good. Or the power to make everyone happy, but how generic is that? And not really even a power...

... In all seriousness, though, that sounds terrible. One of the best things about humans is that we have free will (well, I guess depending on your beliefs you might think otherwise). To take that away from someone is removing one of the rights that they're born with.

I have so many characters that are self-inserts that choosing a power is actually difficult. If I could choose I'd probably go for this one weird as hell one involving gemstones embedded in your flesh but it's too hard to explain properly and also I invented it when I was like... Nine.

Mmmmaybe I'd just want the ability to know other people's thoughs. As in specific thoughts, not generic telekinesis. I want to know what people think of things and asking about them is either impolite, awkward, stupid, dangerous or any combination thereof depending on the person. Usually I'm pretty good at pressuring or cheating people to tell me about their personal matters but maybe all of those people have had relevant flaws (writing the name of your crush while you think nobody's looking) or have been easy to manipulate (work in generic terms based on guesses, his answers confirm your guess)
