Have you ever?

Actually yes, happens a lot. I am working on that. I rant about dumbest stuff sometimes.

Have you ever said something you didn't mean and it cost you big time?
  • #4651

Yep, and trying to work on that as well

Ever had a nice conversation with people when someone says something that's a sensitive topic to you to where you went apeshit on them?

  • #4652

I used to be that way, I have long since stopped that. You have to keep saying it for about 6 months before I will say something now a days.

Same question
  • #4653

Yep...and it's usually because of lack of sleep and I am unable to control my emotions

I have no idea what that is, so I am going to say no.

Ever had a food you loved but it made you feel yucky every time you ate it?
  • #4659

Welp, I can't drink more than 300cc of orange juice without feeling like shit, so there's that.
A proper food, I don't think so.

Have you ever been so tired you just fell asleep?
  • #4660

Yes, at the wheel a week ago. It was only for a split second because I was immediately awakened to the terror of falling asleep at the wheel (it happened two more times that day). As for in general, every night I go to bed :smirk:

Same Q
  • #4661

Yeah, I'm actually pretty tired aththtekhl

vhu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Ever missed attending an event you've been waiting for a long time? (More than a month.)

This post has been edited by Tiggy: 13 March 2012 - 10:15 AM

  • #4663

No I try not to at least. I plan things like that months in advance.

Same Question
  • #4664

Yup. No matter how hard or long I plan, one bad night's sleep can fuck it up.

Have you ever read the novel The Andromeda Strain?
  • #4665

No, is it any good though? (I am always looking for good books to put on my list to read?)

Have you ever avoided someone like the plague?
  • #4666

yes, a few actually. it was usually in high school so when I graduated I never had to deal with them again.

have you ever legitimately wished death upon someone?

This post has been edited by ChewySmokey: 13 March 2012 - 06:05 PM

  • #4667

Um. Not ever death for then I know I would feel responsible. I have thought things would have been easier if they have died, and I have waited for people to die kind of accepting it and hoping it were to occur sooner, but never in a sense that "oh I hate this person, I wish they would die". I would rather beat the living shit out of them and play "mentally unstable, volatile, and violent bringer of justice".

Have you ever thought that you yourself would die, and if so, did you accept it?
  • #4668

...Yes. When I was in the hospital, I honestly thought it was the end for me, and I had accepted it at the time. It sound morbid, but I was actually at my most peaceful sitting in that hospital bed for three weeks. Thinking I was going to die put my poor frenzied mind to rest.

It was actually quite nice. c:

Same question. I'm curious what other people have to say on this one.
  • #4669

Actually no

Same since it's a great question
  • #4670

Only in the 'split second' sense. It's happened a couple times (I do a lot of extreme sports), but it's been more along the lines of just blanking my mind and doing my best to bail safely rather than 'acceptance'. I almost fell off the side of a cliff bouldering, and all I remember is slamming into the rock on the side of the cliff because my arm went into overdrive. Then there's times I've been snowboarding and I thought I was going to land on my neck, but I tucked in at the right angle.

I'm pretty good at taking falls.

Anyways, have you even built and tended a fire yourself? Like, from scratch (you collected all the materials from your surroundings). If you used any sort of fire starter besides legit tinder that you collected (wax logs count as cheating) than it doesn't count. I mean like, you went camping and built a fire in the woods, by yourself.
  • #4671

Yep. Do it a lot when I back-pack actually. I usually have matches for when I can't do it successfully on my own, but I tend to not want to use them to eliminate the amount of garabage I would have to carry.

Ever swam with dolphins?
  • #4672

Swam with sharks, but never dolphins.

Have you ever eaten a Habanero pepper?
  • #4673

Yes. Never again. I like hot things but those are just... Too hot.

  • #4675

Have you ever pushed someone away and when you got what you wanted, it wasn't really what you wanted?
  • #4676

yes.

  • #4677

Yup.

Ever thought about suicide?
  • #4678

Since I was 13.

Have you ever been on a mindblown state while walking down the street?
  • #4679

Yes. Despite this, I quite like looking up at the night sky. Did it just last night, in fact.

Given that I no longer have the nausea or stomach problems from chronic dehydration, I sometimes think the solution would be to intentionally make myself dizzy every so often, so that the body adjusts and gets used to changing fluid levels in the ear.

Have you ever tried something counter-intuitive to solve a problem?
  • #4681

Yes, I have played both Portal games.

Have you ever tried to solve a problem with portals in your head, only to realize portals don't exist?
  • #4682

Nope, I've always been aware that I can't use portals.

Ever written a fanfic?
  • #4683

Sure, I even posted a couple in my poopy art thread.

Have you ever drawn or written something and thought "Yeah, this is pretty good"?
  • #4684

Tons of times. And when I take a good look at them: THEY WERE TERRIBLE. I was not meant to be a writer! And still need some practice on my art before I try to do anything too complicated.

Same question since I'm lazy

Have you ever woke up and asked the question: What day is it?
  • #4689

All the time, my days just kinda melt together due to my job at the moment.

Have you ever felt like you lost a day even though you did stuff that day?
  • #4690

´´Wait, today is THURSDAY?!?``
(Yes.)

Have you ever been in a fistfight?
  • #4691

Almost...
Not quite

Ever spent 6 hours in the hospital for someone else, and not in emergency?
  • #4692

Thankfully, no.

Have you ever felt really depressed?
  • #4693

It's a trademark symptom of my disorder, and given the hell I went through the first 10 - 13 years of my life, it was unavoidable that I'd be rock bottom in terms of emotions. It took time, effort of my part and a little medication to break the cycle though, so try to hang in there!

Have you ever gained a friend from being a victim of bullying?
  • #4694

Yes actually, plenty of times. I was the kid that ended up making friends with a lot of the bullies, it's probably because I was the spastic class clown in elementary school.

And I never took my medicine.

So that's my question, do you have a condition you need medication for that will never go away?
  • #4695

Yeah, I need to take meds for my Tourette's and Arthritis.

Have you ever walked in on a friend making out with someone else and felt really awkward about it?
  • #4696

No, but I have been left in a car in the middle of a sweltering summer day waiting for my best friend and his girlfriend in her house. Guess what I ended up walking in on?

Ever been told someone's deepest darkest secret?

This post has been edited by Mikaro: 21 March 2012 - 06:48 PM

  • #4697

Maybe, I don't know or that could be me not really giving a shit. Who knows.

Same question too tired to think of something.
  • #4698

I don't think so. That or I don't remember.

Ever had a kitchen appliance (toaster/oven/microwave/etc) die on you, while you were in the middle of cooking or reheating something?
