Also I am confused because I thought the general consensus was that MLP is great and wonderful and perfect and that there's a minimal amount of people who aren't fans of it, don't start acting like you're being persecuted, goodness gracious.

Regarding the article I copy-pasted for a humorous effect, it comesfrom Ms. Magazine, which is a primarily feminist magazine. I love that article because she mistakes several tropes that appear in several kids shows for sexist and racist stereotypes, making herself look sexist and racist in the process. She probably even has more articles like that one, though I haven't bothered to look.

Also, I shall finally share my opinion on he matter. I like ponies. The show isn't flawless, a few things get on my nerves about the show, but it's okay as far as time wasters go. I'm still more likely to rather watch Arthur or The Electric Company on PBS, though (those shows are the shit).

I could be resting, writing something more relevant, or maybe doing something of slight worth to better myself, but instead I have decided to write this.

I, originally, had nothing against ponies. Sure, it was a little girly and 'cutesy', but in reality, I could have cared less if someone liked it. I make honest attempts not to be judgmental; after all, I don't feel people should judge or practice needless prejudices against me, but there comes a time when things need to either die, or leave the public eye. There are a few problems I have with the faggot gaynomenon sweeping the net: The retards who make it out better than it is (from a technical and personal level), the people who spam the jokes like they're still funny (were they ever?), and the hypocrites.

The Retards

The retards are those dumb fucks who are like "HURRRRR da has great character development and it is SOOOO realistic." Yeah, it's not. I'm not going to say the show is in no way realistic, nor will I say there is no character development. I won't say the plot is completely shitty and cliched (although this one I really fucking should), and I'm not going to say every single pony fan is a retard or gay. What I will say is that the show is grossly overrated. News fucking flash: just because it's a kids show does not mean you should be any easier on it then you would a normal show. Just because the art is pretty and it makes your mental boners arise does not mean you should be any nicer about it. JUST BECAUSE THE OVERLY CUTESY ANTICS MAKE YOU FORGET THERE IS A REAL WORLD FILLED WITH REAL BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASS AT SCHOOL TOMORROW DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD GIVE IT CREDIT. The plot is a simple and basic childrens plot. Nothing more, nothing less. The presence abundance of adult jokes is not a good thing in a kids show - although a few vague exceptions is usually okay. The characters are really just stereotypes as Taeshi pointed out, and on top of being stereotypes, they aren't even really realistic, they're pretty much just cliched and forced. Yes, the art is nice. If you want to watch for aesthetics, don't let me stop you, but for the love of fuck, don't force this shit on me. Don't lie and say the first episode is amazing, and when I tell you it isn't, don't lie AGAIN and tell me I have to see the second to have an opinion. I have one, and you know what, ponies are pretty damn lame. Protip: Go read a fucking book, or at least play a game that will make you think or refine your reflexes.

The Spammers

Allow me to fill you all in on something, you jew-sympathizing nigger cunt faggot dicks, ponies are not funny at least 90% of the time. I will admit that I've seen some good pony jokes, and honestly, I still do on RARE occasions. But you know what? I still see good pedobear jokes, and I even, once in a polar shift, see an over 9000 joke that is funny. That does not mean I want to see it all over the fucking place. If you anus-penetrating wetback cock-eaters had just understood this in the first place, it would have actually faded away and became a funny memory. Something WORTH remembering. You know what it is now? Pain, misery, desolation, holocaust, abusive step-dad... In other words: bronies. Also, most of those homosexual videos on youtube featuring, yes, you guessed it, ponies, suck ass. They're about as funny as 99% of guile theme videos - NOT FUNNY AT ALL. So please, for the love of Hitler, stop posting terrible pony pictures, and if you don't have the modernized sense of humor or dedication to sift through the shit, then don't post any at all.

The Hypocrites

This one is more of a minority, since the first dominate majority, but in the end, these are not mutually exclusive. You can be one, two, or even (God-forbid) all three of these. The Hypocrites are the faggots who, when accused of being obsessed faggots, deny it and try to play the blame game. "Lol no better then Wow fags." Typically, they, being the creepy faggots they are, will collect enough information about you too use something personal and call it gayer. If they can't find anything, they use WoW since not only do a lot of people play it, but it is an easy target (there are an incredible amount of faggot WoW players). These are also the same people who, when called faggots and are compared to other "bronies", deny it and accuse you of generalization. The hypocrisy is how they're really just making excuses and would use the exact same offense against you if they could.

In short, this group can be summed up as terrible trolls of sort. They don't know what they're talking about, and they insist that they're right - and sometimes better - for watching ponies. Not as common as the others, but twice as gay.



Ponies are gay and you should feel gay.

I don't understand why it matters that people like ponies. Sure the show is really girly, but who gives a damn. It doesn't effect you anymore then me having to see commercial for Glee effects me. I really hate Glee, but when I find someone who likes the show I say that I don't like it and then assuming they aren't a rabid fan we move on with our lives. Yes there are fans who are fucktards there will always be fucktards that is a fact of life. The fact that they exist in a certain fanbase does not mean the entire group deserves it or that the show is in some way poisonous. I can only guess that the reason ponies seems to have more fucktards is because it has a larger fanbase then most or since they already feel like they shouldn't be watching the show they lash out and have to justify their action. My vote is a little of both. Maybe even the fact that it exist solely on the Internet has something to do with its far reach.
