Kaizy's Stuff (now with 20% more streaming!)

Hola, its late as hell, Im tired and sick, and thus I figured this was the perfect time to attempt some drawing :unsure:
(oh and look at that, its the first thread Ive made here)

Im not much of an artist myself, my focus is in Graphic Design, its my comfort zone
I dont draw as much as I probably should, but Ive been getting better at making myself draw more, makin up for wasted time n such

Anyways, heres a couple of my characters I sketched tonight:

Ill most likely color those...maybe...if Im not lazy and put it off like all the other unfinished sketches that plague my folders

Personally I like my sketches better than my finished crap
I always seem to make the finished stuff look lame or something, plus I cant shade for beans

Not bad at all, you got yourself a sense of style there. I prefer raw sketches over finished stuff too, you see more of the work that way, haha.

Tried to upload it everywhere, but they all resized it, so I caved and put it in Candybooru (never used anything like it before)

You can tell that when I started it, I wasnt exactly bringing my A-game, but I warmed up to it after a while
I know I totally failed a lot of different aspects and I could knitpick all day at the shit I hate about it, but all-in-all, I think its fine
This damned thing took me all week because I stalled, and kept redrawing things, hoping to make things look acceptable enough to show off, especially in regards to the characters depicted because I did NOT want to mess up the characters too much but I totally did (ex. Lucy in #2 still bugs me after 4 redraws), but Ill leave you guys to decide how much I messed up a character or not :nope:

But yeah, I got some decent bit out of it too, and it was fun drawing characters I havent drawn before
I should try more fanart when Im not busy or being a lazy procrastinator

Alright, well I had a random idea or something floating in my head for a while, I guess a story for a fan comic really, which isnt exactly a strong point of mine because I never was good at writing stories, specially fanfiction or anything of the sort, but I still had a random idea sitting around for a while
So, I figured since I was strapped for ideas tonight, Id take a bit of the idea, scratch out a demo page, and see just what kind of response I get
So...well here it is

Lots of sadness and crying

While it is a sketchy demo page with no dialogue (god help me my dialogue is probably trash), I know theres stuff that needs work...so much stuff :nope:
Ive got minimal expressions experience (dont even remember the last time I attempted to draw someone crying, if that), and I have practically no comic experience, despite the fact that I have tried to produce some way back when
I suppose it didnt turn out too bad though, I mean at least it looks nice enough for something sketchy and unfinished

Im pretty thankful I did that art meme before I attempted this so I could at least warm up to the characters before sketching them about
But uh yeah, so this does have somewhat of a story to it, I basically clipped something from...maybe the partway or middle of the story, and threw it on a page
Probably wont finish this

Small update time

Ive been kinda busy and tired lately, and strapped for ideas so the past few days havent been my best for doodling as proven here

I think it looks weird for whatever reason, but I just needed to doodle something
If I dont draw for extended periods of time, I think I get worse lol

Also I did a little file digging and apparently forgot that about 3-4 weeks ago, I actually had drawn something BCB related

Oh, and Ive decided that I will try my hand at that fancomic thing...it just might take me a while to put anything up because the little story I kinda had for it is still in random pieces Im trying to put together and Im trying to make it somewhat interesting (Im not a writer, bear with me lol), plus I dont want to do anything thats going to make the characters appear or act horribly OOC because if I do that, Ill feel like a real idiot
But yeah, I promise if I can make it work, Ill try making the fancomic :smirk:

There is just something about you style kaziy. It's fairly simple but it just looks fantasic, particulary in sketch. That said I'd still love to see more colored work. Maybe you should post your character sheet here from FA. Just a thought.
Your skech here is fantastic, even though it isn't your best work. Do you have a specific set of characters that you normally draw? Ya know, outside of krystal and yourself (or are they the same?).

My linearted and colored stuff ends up looking slightly less interesting imo lol

I actually have like...8 characters or so, they just never seem to get as much attention from me as Kaizy XD

I wouldn't mind seeing more of your original work finished, since the only time I've seen your character was in the meme, wheres the rest of the thread has the sketches which I can't really make out too well :(

Also you should Candybooru the Mike and Lucy picture!!

Yeah Im really lazy, I just throw out some sketches and never actually sit down to finish them even though I say I "totally will" lol
I suppose I could try to make some actual finished pictures of my characters and whatnot

And yes I was meaning to put that pic up there but Booru has been acting up lately so I was waiting for a moment where it was actually working :unsure:
