I don't remember shit, possibly because we never had t.v. that worked during those times so I didn't hear about it until a few days after it had actually happened.

I'm sorry, I tend to have random outbursts at times. Sugar effects my mind very badly.
As for the day the towers were hit, I can't remember if I was sleeping during that time, I was around age 5. I overheard my parents crying, but I never bothered to ask.
I do remember them buying a documentry about it, but nobody explained to me what had happened.

Osama on the left, and a "terrorist" on the right imagining his "reward" for the deeds.

Let's Roll!

there are a few activities and bits about our history of freedom, what it means and all that. so it isnt just, ZOMG TERRORIZERS!

overall a really awkward way to tell children in my view. i do find it really hard to explain to my 5(6??) year old nephew what happened. i'm not sure i'm ever going to find a way to tell him that doesn't give him a bad view of people in the world, or make him really upset.

Calling you on your bullshit.
At least 12 double blind randomised controlled trials have examined how children react to diets containing different levels of sugar. None of these studies, not even studies looking specifically at children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, could detect any differences in behaviour between the children who had sugar and those who did not. This includes sugar from sweets, chocolate, and natural sources. Even in studies of those who were considered “sensitive” to sugar, children did not behave differently after eating sugar full or sugar-free diets.
Scientists have even studied how parents react to their kids on sugar. When parents are told their child has been given a drink containing sugar, but it is actually sugar-free, they rate the behaviour as more hyperactive than those not given the drink. In fact, the differences in behavior between the two groups were all in the parents’ minds.

Anyways, I felt like this thing is a really bad joke. But yeah, I wouldn't feel like it would be so bad if they actually made an effort to portray regular Islamic people at all. And if the word Muslim wasn't always accompanied by the word extremist or terrorist.

New owner of said coloring book was hysterical at the ludicrous idea of the coloring book. And set away to coloring in nyan-eleven right away.

That may be so, but how we bring forth history to others is also an issue. All those jokes about Hitler do not exactly pay much respect to the situation, I fear this book series is just like them.
