The title says it all. Just argue to your hearts content about which game console is the best.

My choice is the Xbox 360. Sure it may cost a bit to play online, but at least it's got a huge line-up of titles coming in. Not to mention GREAT graphics.

(Added PC cause it seemed natural.) 8-D

Honestly I own the Wii, but I find myself barely playing it recently. Same thing would likely have happened no matter the console though. Gotten more into PC gaming these days.

I barely like any music games, but PC has custom maps, mods, TF2, and Minecraft.

Console has Halo, Infamous, and other fun games.

To me, they're all equal.

Except Wii, I don't even know who buys a Wii, I traded my Wii for a Kinect, the Wii version of games usually has half of the content missing.

I hate the Wii the forced controller movements just shatter my immersion and frustrate me. I chose PS3 out of loyalty and the fact that I couldn't play resistance on Xbox. I don't care for the Xbox exclusive games like halo or gears of war so the logical choice was PS3. If I cared for online play it would have been a harder choice, but I don't give a damn. As for PC its fine I'll play on it if steam is having a sale, but I've always preferred a controller and not having to worry if my computer can handle it.

Xbox 360 for me. I hate motion controls like the Wii has and the PS3 has gone for something like that too. I like PC as well but its expensive.
Also i would never buy kinect I highly doubt they will every make a fun game that uses the kinect controls without being frustrating as fuck or like some crappy Wii game ripoff.

Xbox 360:
Pros: Extremely easy to find friends, Good selection of games, and (some) backwards compatibility with original Xbox games.

Cons: Bitchy community, restrictions on file formats that it can use for media, Achievement points[some games implement these in a fun way, most do not]

PS3:
Pros: Blu-ray compatible, very early models are completely backwards compatible, is excellent as a media player as well as a console.

Cons: Bitchy community, No backwards compatibility in newer models, Trophies.

Wii:
Pros: Has a good selection of exclusive titles, is backwards compatible with Gamecube games, best choice for more then one person playing from a single console.

Cons: Bitchy community, Controls are often weird/erratic, You have a better chance of finding Atlantis then a friend over online.

PC:
Pros: It can do many,many things , mostly only limited only by your own knowledge and your computer's specs.

Cons: It can't do shit if you have a crap computer and/or are an idiot.

And thus ends my inspection of the consoles. PC wins for me, but next is 360, since I like the feel of the controller for 360 more then the PS3 controller[Yes, the controller; not the games, not RROD problems, not price, but the controller.]

Well... All are pretty good! But this is important! HERES A FACT YOU GUYS: gamecube controllers are the best! Perfectly formed for the hand! Xbox got for people with bigger hands. (which is understandable cause it's made for older people). The wii got the car, golf and tennis thingies and many more which makes it nicer. Ps controls are the worst. Pc are nice!

PC: 1 I'm not used to the controls 2. Excluding valve and blizzard games the production quality in console games is usually higher (ive tried many xbox games that are now on PC and there better on xbox) 3. People are just as annoying as any other community, though I'd say it's the second best out of the 4 4. All valve games besides L4D are 10000002255521677x better on the PC 5. Downloads on Steam

PS3: 1. Very fun console exclusives 2. Community not as good as PC or Xbox 3. Theyre trying to use motion controlls now, just disgraceful 4. Bad downloadable games 5 Controller is too small for my hands

The gamecube has many enjoyable games like Paper Mario, Resident Evil, Smash Brothers, ECT. But there was no online feature. And the handlefull of good games doesn't compare to the game libraries of the other systems besides the wii.

I never could get it to work on mine

At least the gamecube had Rogue Squadron 2, one of the best flying games ever.

Then we got Rebel Strike, which was even better because it had Rogue Squadron 2 co-op......so many attempts to get gold on the Death Star core run....

i personaly prefer the wii, cause of the exclusives and the controler( i really liked it, and with the motion+ it gets perfect ^^)
people who say that wii has no games never went to a store .-.
unfortunally, its also full of fucking third party shity games

but i also like the 3 others, and if i had the choice i would stay with only 1 console and get a better computer(mine sucks balls - its a fucking PENTIUM 4)

PC is my preferred gaming device.

For me the cost is hardly an issue. I need a computer for University work, internet and stuff as well as games so it makes sense to spend extra to get a decent PC. Feels like saving money to me. Also if you build the PC yourself you can save a lot over pre-built ones. It doesn't require too much research.

Another thing that annoys the hell out of me when I'm playing on console is the FPS drops. I couldn't care less if I have less pretty graphics, as long as the game shows them consistently while I'm playing it. Do console gamers not notice it or something, or is it that you're so used to it, it seems normal?

Also mods, pirated games, less screaming 12 year olds (not that they don't exist on PC though) and a larger selection of some great indie games.

One thing I will say about console is it's a great social machine. Having a few friends come around, drink, smoke and play GT5/Rock Band/CTR is just something that a PC can't really emulate.
